Our four-hour trip was the perfect mix of relaxation, wildlife, and adventure. Captain Jessica and her crew went above and beyond, providing iced drinks, snacks, and buckets for collecting shells. They took us to Old Hickory Island, where we found some amazing shells, a Pygmy octopus, conch, and a sand dollar. Throughout the trip, Captain Jessica shared her knowledge about the local ecosystem, answering all of our questions about the dolphins, manatees, mangroves, and the area. One of the highlights was when she spotted a pod of dolphins. She carefully brought the boat alongside them, and we got to watch them swim and jump in our boat's wake--it was unforgettable! Communication was outstanding from start to finish. We had to reschedule twice due to weather. Captain Jessica made the process incredibly easy and stress-free. She is friendly, welcoming, and shared lots of great local recommendations for places to visit and things to do. He always made sure that we had enough to drink and had as many bathroom breaks as we needed and pointed us to good lunch spots throughout our trip. At the end of the trip when I wasn't feeling well, Mordechai went above and beyond to got me what I needed and made sure that I was ok. He knew everyone wherever we went in Israel and everyone loved him, and he helped us to navigate a place that was foreign to us. Besides being the most knowledgeable guide, Mordechai is the most pleasant person to spend time with and we genuinely miss him. By the end of the trip, we truly felt that Mordechai was part of our family. I would not look elsewhere when planning a trip to Israel. Shalom Israel Tours is a company that will make your family, friends or whomever you are planning a trip with feel special and like a VIP. Our knowledgeable guide Brad told us if you go in the late summer (wet season), 2' or so of water is flowing through it. So, what you see in the two seasons is different. They also have a nice gift shop, small museum and a restaurant. We saw all sorts of birds and animals. Even though they aren't necessarily exotic or rare, you are seeing them in their habitat. The ranch property really represents FL, more so than some other types of tours. And, it is for all ages and reasonably priced. Our visiting late teenage aged grandsons and friend enjoyed the tour every bit as much as we did. Highly recommend!

This was a cute little place but emphasis on little…read more.. it was one small room. One big tank in the center of the room, a few enclosures of snakes and frogs. A sandpit for kids to play in. A turtle tank. A tiny tank with some miscellaneous fish and a baby puffer, a touch tank with some sea urchins, horse shoe crabs, hermit crabs, sea stars, and sea cucumbers, another tank with some brittle stars and a sea horse, and one last tank with some lion fish! There's $3 admission for military but I cannot imagine paying double that. I hope the profit goes to something beneficial for wildlife. We really took our time checking out every tank once we saw how small the room was. There was an employee at the touch tank that was extremely knowledgeable about the animals they have. Overall it was enjoyable to step inside and spend 20 minutes looking at fish tanks.
