Such a fun experience touring the Everglades. Great for kids, teens and adults. Highly recommend

The tour is 2 hours long and the trolley only comes around every hour so most people just stayed on. If you wanted to get off, it had to be for an hour at least. Maybe a trolley every 30 min would help. James was a good driver and entertainer. The tour included many lovely expensive homes, names of restaurants and some history. The office is small and snacks are from a vending machine. There are restrooms and the staff is friendly. The parking lot is small and there is only one handicapped space. It is in an industrial area and each section said parking only for customers. Thank goodness a spot opened up for my disabled husband or I would left. Maybe they could add stops at a museum or attraction other than shopping. read more

Our driver was GREAT! He is a long time resident of the area, so he knows where the bones are buried! Unfortunately, a rude family got on and were loud so we could not hear the last few stops of our tour. read more

We expected more Everglades and less driving to get there, but at least Kenny, our driver & guide, was very knowledgeable & entertaining. He even showed us photos of some of his experiences in the area. (He does talk too fast for these old ears.) The guide in the park was also very good & I loved holding the baby alligator. We stopped at City Seafood for a take-away lunch as some of our fellow travelers needed to return to Naples by a certain time. It's a nice spot & the food was good (not great). read more

My husband and I took the tour with amazing Steve from Cleveland. I loved this tour, and I love the tour guide. Steve was so informative, yet not overbearing. He took us to all of the important sites of Naples, and was able to tell us all of the great information that we did not know. He also showed us great restaurants to experience. Right after we finished the tour, we went to the Dock seafood restaurant for lunch. And as he said, it was absolutely great. Great trip! The only negative thing I found was there was no direction given for parking if you were not a guest of the JW Marriott on departing trips from Marco Island. Kenny our guide did a fantastic job. We all appreciated his input and insights on the Island. read more

Tour guide was exceptional. Very knowledgeable about the area the history and major milestones.

Be forewarned that this trip spends a large portion of time at what is billed as an animal rescue sanctuary but is really a sad zoo. You also spend time pulled over to the side of the road in a van straining your neck looking for a manatee snout in a lagoon or an owl in a hole. Time on an airboat- 30 minutes out of 4 hours. We were also driven to the "world's smallest post office" but it was closed. Tour guide Kenny tries his best and works very hard. However, there isn't enough clarity in the Marriott tour information to really give you an idea of what you are in for before you go and this may not be everyone's cup of tea. read more

This excursion was a great trip for my family with kids aged 11 & 12. Our tour guide, Connie, was fantastic! She shared so much knowledge about the Everglades both on the trip out there and on the way back. Saw plenty of gators on the side canal en route to the airboat ride. The airboat ride was a pure thrill! It could potentially be a little much for some, but it was safe and the driver gave us a rush of excitement throughout. We really enjoyed this tour and would recommend to everyone. read more

We took the tour out of curiosity about the air boat and the Everglades. We did not realize that it was s forty five minute drive to get to the place where we would board the air boat but, Kenny (the tour guide and driver), gave us a lot of pertinent information about the area on our ride over to the air boat. He was good-natured and made the ride interesting with anecdotes and pictures . Unfortunately, the weather was quite cold and damp that day. Kenny even brought a couple of extra jackets for people on the tour that might not have dressed warmly enough! Prior to having the Everglades ride, we were dropped off at a small alligator zoo where we got to view a very large and lethargic alligator. The handler told us quite a bit about alligators and we were encouraged to hold a small one (with its mouth held closed by a thick rubber band). The air boat "driver" gave us a fun ride and also some interesting facts about the Everglades. We stopped for lunch at a local seafood place (the cost for lunch was not part of the tour but the food was delicious). After that, Kenny drove the group back to our staring point. We enjoyed ourselves but note that the actual air boat ride was only half an hour or so of the total trip time. read more

Steve was informative and personable, however three stops were not available and only one trolley was running yesterday (March 3), so we could not explore any of the stops on foot for a reason length of time. Feel as though we did not receive what was promised. read more

The intimate tour was very educational. Our guide was informative, patient with our questions and gave a few extra stops to see alligators by a bridge, a python in captivity & took us to the SAFEST spot which was the smallest post office in the US! The motorboat trip was exhilarating too but holding a baby alligator was the highlight! Thanks!! read more

So we booked this half day excursion based upon the reviews and descriptions. It was fairly disappointing. Basically they just bring you to captain Jack's for $20 more than captain Jack's charges. Cramped bus that you spend 2 hours on. The airboat was fun but there is no wildlife no alligators. But they definitely give you the impression that you will see both. Tour is slow and not all that exciting. Alligator show is free. Would be much better off just driving to both locations on your own. Lesson learned. Went overtime as well. Felt like being imprisoned. read more

Ventured to the Everglades on a 13 passenger air conditioned bus with a careful driver named Rob and a guide named Joe who was extremely knowledgeable about Florida, Naples, and the Everglades. Our airboat was ready for us when we arrived. That was awesome!!!! Stopped at the world's smallest post office and had lunch at City Seafood, followed by a tour of Everglades City. Booked this for airboat tour of Everglades. Says it is a 5-hour tour. Maybe 1-hour is the airboat. The rest of the tour is at a run down animal "zoo" where alligators, bengal tiger, & (2) lions are kept. Then there was a guy that puts on a "show" where he spends longer talking abt the large alligator he handles than he does sitting on its back & waving his hands thru the gator's mouth. After we are loaded back up in the shuttle bus & literally the rest of the tour is thru trailer parks, "downtown Everglades" which consists of 2-3 buildings. Then tour thru a campground that has some cypress trees in it & the guide on the shuttle talks the entire time about the history of the area but ticks me off that this excursion cost $400 & literally 1/4 of it was only the airboat. The tour of the trailer parks, run down city & trees is some ploy to drag out the time they have their captive audience (as there's no way to duck out) & justify charging $400 for your group. I highly deter you not doing this- total waste of time & not worth the money. EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! read more

We loved our trolley trip on Easter Sunday. It was filled with interesting info on Naples/Collier history, a terrific and scenic route and amusing anecdotes! Joe pointed out all of the highlights of our new home town and was a wealth of knowledge about all! We highly recommend this tour - we did not "hop off and on", but will the next time. The Trolley Tour of Naples FL is excellent. Our tour guide, Steve, was friendly and knowledgeable. We took the tour after living in Naples for a year and it was helpful to revisit sites with which we were familiar, but also get introduced to new ones. Would not suggest the tour for children as sites visited are mostly restaurants, shops, resorts and other attractions geared to adults. read more
