HI everyone. This is Dov from TravelFurnish.com. I check these reviews every once in a while just to see what is going on. You whom are reading this now please keep in mind that Travelfurnish.com makes more than 1000 bookings a year. We are the largest provider of privately owned furnished homes in the South East and soon to be the North East as well. We make more great deals saving travelers hundreds if not thousands of dollars. We handed out more than 1 million dollars to owners last year. I must admit that the are some issues with maybe 5% of the bookings. It would be ridiculous to state that there is never a unhappy client. When you do 1000 bookings a year like we do inevitably something will go wrong. If 5% of our clients are unhappy that is 50 unhappy customers. Not good I agree but It is really only a small percentage of our overall clientele. I am sure that just about any one will do business with a company like us that has a 95% satisfaction ratio. And truth is that not all of the 5% end up badly. Something may go wrong but we are able to rectify whatever problem there is and satisfy all but a few. The problem with these review boards is that they really don't serve the public any good. They are misleading because people that are happy and satisfied generally don't post anything. Ask your self this question, "Out of the 100's of products that I use and are happy with how many times have I ever made a good post or comment about them on the Internet? I can tell you personally that I have never put a good comment about anything. You are probably saying the same thing to yourself. And for me the reason is simple. I have never made any comments on these sites because It is a major inconvenience for me to write these comments and get them live on these comment review sites. Let me explain to you why. Here we go through the steps to put your comment on a site like this here and get your opinion heard. First, you don't want to use your real email address because you know the comment site will spam you. So you have to register a new email address that you will use just for the express purpose of posting your good comment. After you figure that out and finally pick a name that they accept and is not already taken and you can remember it you have to now pick a password. Some sites make you use a combination of letters and numbers and ask you to enter the password more than once. Then you have to go to the comment site and you have to register there now using your new email account. This takes more time. You have to create a user name and password there. Hopefully the first choice you try is not already taken. If it is you have to pick another username and password until you find one that works. Now you have to fill in a bunch of info about yourself. Maybe 20 questions? I know they sell this information to the world so I enter a bunch of BS just to get through the process. OK so now you got about 30 minutes into this gig and you are still not even close to being done. You now have to again log into the new email account you just created and see if the comment site sent you a registration verification link. You can't post your comment live until you get this link in your new email's in box. And why is it like this? Well if the comment site cannot prove to it's advertisers that all the personal information it is selling them is from people who have "opted in" the advertisers will not see any value in it. Ok so lets say you have just wasted about an hour of your time creating the new email address and registering on the comment site and waiting for the verification link to come. Which by the way, sometimes the verification links don't come right away. Sometimes you have to wait hours or maybe a day. Those of you who have registered on these sites know this. So let's say that it comes a day later. Gee, I hope you remember that new email address login and the login to the comment site. Did you write it down? If not you are out of luck and you have just wasted an hour of time or maybe more. Let's say you get the verification link and you are all set and good to go. Now you have to write your comment. Have you written down your comment? What are you going to say? How long is it going to be. More time spent just trying to write the content of your post. First you have to figure out where to put it. You have to figure out what section to put it in. You have to click the review button or the make comment button .. where is that? For a lot of my clients this is not so easy. I have had some of them give me a call at this stage. They say, "Hey, you asked me to put good comment but I can't figure this site out." I have to walk them through it. If you are young then sure it is easy and no problem. However, a lot of our travelers are not so good with computers. read more

I recently traveled using travelfurnish, and after reading the review Dov left, I felt it necessary to write a review; as well, about my experience with TravelFurnish. I guess I was in the 5% that Dov was talking about. I received a phone call three weeks before My scheduled stay in Miami beach. I do not recall now the original place I had booked, but it was a two bedroom condo not in South Beach but close. I was told the original owner was no longer renting his unit. This came as a shock to me because I had book this unit three months before. I was very nervous at this point because our flight was already booked and we needed a place to stay. Dov assured me that he would find my a place immediately and that is the assurance you receive when you book with his company. I agreed and I received an email from Liz with three different property choices. To my surprise, a place called the Manderin was available at the same rate I had previously purchased. This was so much better because it was right in South Beach. I agreed and Liz sent me the owners information. I contacted him and he said everything was ready to go and He looked forward to seeing me at check-in. At this point I figured everything was great and I was relieved that my vacation was finalized, but to my dismay this was not the end of my experience. Two days before I was suppose to check-in, I received an email from the owner stating that I needed to pay more money to him for unscrupulous petty things. Here is what he told me, I was going to be charged a cleaning fee of $75, a $5 a day Hotel rate, and a $500 deposit. Irate at this point I immediately called TravelFurnish. I got on the phone with Dov and once again he reminded me that I was dealing with vacation rentals by owners and this stuff happens sometimes. He said that he will no longer be sending reservations to that owner and he would get Liz back on it immediately. Within an hour, when I didn't hear back from them, I called again. Dov said Liz sent out the email and was just waiting for responses. He assured me again that I was their number one priority and we would hear from them shortly. About a half hour later I received an email from Liz with three great options. The one property that caught my eye was the Setai.I told them I would take that one and Liz set everything up for me. The owner again contacted me, but this time by phone not email like the last one. I told him my story and He assured me that this would not happen with him and that he was just waiting for me to come down. When I arrived at the property to check in everything was smooth. The owner took my on a tour of the beautiful property and even carried our bags to the room. The place was everything we could have wanted in a vacation rental. It was like we were staying in a luxury resort.The owner told us that the property was worth a lot more then what we paid for, but he was doing a favor for Dov because he had heard about what had happened with the two previous owners. I can not thank TravelFurnish enough for everything they did for me. I would like to say thank you to Dov and Liz personally along with the staff at the Setai for making this vacation a memorable one, and possibly one of the best trips I have taken so far in my life. read more

"I will tell friends about TravelFurnish" Great Job. Highly recommended! I loved Miami and my whole experience renting from a vacation rental by owner with travelfurnish was excellent. It was the first time I traveled this way. usually I book with a hotel. However, I had a friend that rented a place from these folks so I figured I would give it a try. I did my research read the reviews. I found that most of the reviews are good but there seemed to be some that posted over and over again in different places basically the same thing. So I called travelfurnish and asked about it. They reassured me it was the same guy posting over and over again all over the net because he lied about how many people he was brining. When he was caught they gave him his money back but kept a fee. That is when he went bonkers. So I could over look that and I have to tell you they handeled my reservation flawlessly and I really appreciate it. All in all I figure I saved about 600 dollars when you include the fact that I cooked all my meals in the rental. Thanks for a great time! I rented a place thought travelfurnish and it was a great experience. I must have called 100 places but Travelfurnish had what I found to be prices and selection. They had staff that met us at the property and everything was perfect. I read some reviews below about other people and when I asked about it dov told me they try to satisfy everyone but sometimes it is just not possible. Most of what they wrote are not true as I saw emails from clients that totally are opposite of what they are saying. I think the main problem is that people think renting a vacation rental by owner is like going to a hotel and it is not. When I checked in I was told that this condo does not operate like a hotel. The owners here are renting them out to clients but you cant expect room service or go to the management office for every little issue you have. I also understand and read in the terms and conditions that there is a possibility that since all these properties are one of a kind and individually owned if it becomes unavailable I will not be able to expect that I will get exactly the same thing in exchange. What I will get will be different but just as nice or even nicer. I can accept that considering I am saving about 400 dollars off of the hotel rate and getting a lot more. All in all I was very satisfied with travelfurnish and have told many friends about their service. No one I know of has any issues and I was shown proof that all the bad reviews are basically made by one disgruntled patron. Perfect weather, palm trees, blue ocean, exotic plants and of course, miles of exquisite white sandy beaches- there is only one place in the world where the epithet heaven on earth sits as comfortably as it does on Miami, Florida- our spring break destination for the year. Truth be told, initially I was bummed about the fact that we could not find accommodation anywhere near South Beach, but the place we had rented on Sunny Isles Beach, seemed like a pretty good deal. However, the minute I stepped into our luxury condo, I realized that 'a pretty good deal' was an understatement, it was a one-off. My jaws literally dropped as I walked into the fully functional apartment overlooking the ocean. As a matter of fact, it had an amazing view of the ocean and the beach. Moreover, the apartment was beautifully decorated and had everything one could ever ask for including a flat screen TV! Anyway, I was sort of apprehensive about the sleeping arrangements since the apartment had only one bedroom, but then it turned out that it had a queen size bed that easily accommodated the three of us. Not like I would mind sleeping on the sofa in the living area because that was really cozy as well. Therefore, the accommodation worked out really well for us- too well if you ask me because we squandered a significant portion of day 1 indoors just gushing over it. Nonetheless, we did go out in the evening for a while to swim and grab a couple of drinks at the waterside bar, but none of us were willing to explore beyond the walls of the beach fort. Consequently, we had to extend our stay. The next couple of days were spent visiting the countless tourist attractions Miami had to offer namely the Oleta River State Park, the Seaquarium and of course South Beach, all located minutes away from where we were staying. Considering my passion for arts and culture, I was particularly thrilled about the Art and Culture Center of Hollywood, which was also a short drive away. As far as gastronomy is concerned, Miami is known to be very diverse and we were lucky enough to experience the wide variety of cuisines found in the nearby restaurants. To sum it all up, we made the most out of our time spent in Miami and I feel like that had a lot to do with our housing. Not only was it conveniently situated, but it had everything you can find at a 5 star hotel and came with a very reasonable price tag. Therefore, I would not only recommend it to anyone heading towards Miami, but insist that they stay at the Trump Miami Beach Pool Patio Ocean View Beach Fort. This fantastic place is guaranteed to give even the best hotels and resorts a run for their money. read more

Travelfurnish is great. they really treated me wonderful. We made our reservation a few months in advance. We stayed in contact a few times because we wanted to add a person then add the dog. It was a lot to ask for but Dov made us all feel very comfortable. The price was perfect and the service was really excellent. I was told that travelfurnish makes more bookings than anyone else in Miami and you can really tell by their operation that this is true. I did a lot of shopping around and they gave me the best rate and the best service. What I liked most is that I contacted them maybe a million times to ask questions. They answered the phone almost every time with a friendly and helpful reply. Try calling some owners or another company and they usually don't even answer the phone. Another wonderful thing about dov was that they assure you will never have your reservation canceled. I always read fine print and they are the only company that gives you 90% of your funds back if you need to cancel. They sold me insurance too and it was just a few bucks. I was treated very fairly, I got a great deal and a great place. What I was looking for was a unique experience in a one of a kind ocean front condo. It really did not matter to me about room service but I realize that in Miami beach now there are all sorts of problems with condos and the real estate market going down. My main concern was that what if they property gets foreclosed on before I arrive. Will I lose my money, will the people I am working with take care of me. That is why I booked with a company instead of an owner direct. I then looked for a company that offered insurance and would simply always answer the phone. It was my first time visit to Miami so I wanted to stay somewhere near the beach, away from the loud and chaotic city life. I found a penthouse unit located in Sunny Isles, on Travel Furnish, and it pretty much fit my bill. It was a little out of my price range but I got a special deal through the agency that made it affordable. The house was incredibly clean and modern and the bed was to die for. I usually have trouble sleeping at night but this one worked magic on me! Although the rooms were kind of small, they were cozy and the enormous kitchen more than compensated for the room sizes. My only major gripe was with the bathroom-I felt like the shower space was designed for dwarves. Nevertheless, the pros outweighed the cons. Since it was located on prime property the place gave us easy access to the beaches, great restaurants and the amazing nightlife Miami is so famous for. Moreover, throughout my stay in Miami, Travel Furnish was very helpful. They were warm and welcoming and informative about the area transit and restaurants. To conclude, I had a fantastic time in Miami and that wouldn't have been possible without help from Travel Furnish. The property was just what I needed and I'd definitely consider it again if I come back to Miami. read more

I wanted to take my family to the keys on my wife's birthday. I figured it would be nice to get away from our home in Pembroke Pines to a nice ocean front house and possibly do some boating and fishing while we were down there. We came across travelfurnish.com and were a little skeptical at first because of some of the reviews on this site. So we decided to call the office. My wife really liked the Blue dolphin, so I just wanted to please her. We first talked to Dov, and he explained the whole process of booking and how vacation rentals were not like booking a hotel. He said we would communicate through email so we would have a paper trail for everything we did. He sounded sincere, so we decided to book the trip. Luckily everything went smooth. When we arrived at the house, it was everything we expected and some. We were able to fish right off the dock, unfortunately we did not get the opportunity to go on a boat ride, but the relaxation of being right on the water, was more then worth it. Dov Baron or should I say Erik Goldman or who Knows...very sleek talker that is very likely to piss off 9 customers out of ten...true and confirmed anomalies: Something shady always goes on, meeting in parking lots, cafes, etc. You land on a property and pay him the booking fee, he has the tendency to call you back 1-3 days before your arrival date telling you the property is not available for whatever reason, on top of that he does not return your money. Very unprofessional person, used to be the owner of mimobeach.com...he screwed up and pissed off so many people that he changed the name to travelfurnish.com Advice: It is true gambling when you book a property thru travelfurnish.com, be prepared for the unexpected, be prepared to loose your booking fee if things do not go well and most properties have these weird rules that are not totally disclosed by this person adding layers of stress and uncertainty to your vacation time. I love it here, Miami is such and amazing city! The Lincoln rd, the beaches, even the style of living! I absolutely loved the apartment I stayed in, it looked just like the pictures and the view from my balcony was as beautiful as promised!
