The hotel is centrally located and we were able to walk around town including over the foot bridge at the river. We just stayed here overnight on our way back south. We appreciated the ample parking around the hotel and we enjoyed breakfast in the hotel restaurant. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

The bed was good enough for the weekend stay and the room was clean when we arrived to it. The shower was a little wonky turning on and off and a few chips around the tub. It's older though so Its to be expected. Nothing was ever needed so I didn't get to interact with the staff. The AC worked and I was thankful for that.

This place was horrible. I stayed for 2 nights with my 6 year old. The first room had a broken…read morechain lock and the shower knob came off in my hand. Had to pack up my luggage and child and move rooms at 10:30pm. The second morning we woke up to no hot water in our room. I called the front desk about both issues and both times I had to walk down to the front desk to follow up. After we checked out I started receiving credit card notifications about charges being made to my card. They charged $250 in addition to my room. When I called and asked they told me it was a smoking fee for smoking in the room. I have never smoked in my life and I had my child with me the whole weekend, I was definitely not smoking in that room (they did credit that, but I had to call and argue with them). And to top it off the pool was not working, the wifi was not working the first night, and it took forever to get towels because "they didn't have any left", and the walls were dirty. In short -broken lock -broken shower -no hot water -no pool -fraudulent charges on my credit card -dirty -poor customer service

The room they put my sons and dog in had a full kitchenette, was clean, and comfortable. My daughter and I had a mini fridge and microwave, but our room was just as nice. When I checked in, Aysha was working the front desk and the first thing she told me was that there had been a water main break and while we couldn't drink the water, they had bottled water for all guests. She also advised the water was blackish/grey, but had been deemed safe for bathing. All of that aside, if we wanted to cancel our reservations, they understood and there were no penalties. We chose to stay. I didn't shower, but the room was nice and comfortable. We slept well and we will stay here again on our way back home. Backstory: Pet-friendly room prices were inflated and then we were charged an additional pet fee (which is typical). When we booked the room, due to the inflated price, we assumed the pet fee was included. When I contacted customer service, they said it's because there was a kitchen. The kitchen rooms were $85, pet friendly was $119... just be cognizant when booking the room.

Located walking distance to anything you need (groceries, coffee, sandwiches, gifts) and also a restaurant and bar in hotel. Hot breakfast options are excellent, no need to go anywhere else. We were told they had a room so I asked to see it based on other reviews before checking in. Immediately the clerk (owner?) said "you go down the road , there are cheaper motels". I was aghast, noting price wasn't an issue, cleanliness IS. And if he didn't trust us ( a mid-fifties, retired couple) he should accompany us to show it. He was adamant that we go elsewhere. I was mortified and incensed and completely embarrassed at being told to leave a Super 8. I will never stay at a Super 8 property in the future based on this one experience! Note: Did try down the road at the Billy Barker Hotel and had a lovely, comfortable stay.

The free continental breakfast had very little available (see photo). I have some dietary restrictions and there was nothing appetizing or safe for me to eat here so we went elsewhere for breakfast. The hotel was cheap and that's about the only positive thing. Cheap was what we were looking for on this particular trip so it was fine. We would most likely stay at a different hotel in the area next time.
