He told me that this particular dent was not workable due to its location and the make of the car having reinforcement in the door. He packed up his stuff and was ready to leave. I asked him what I owed him, and he was not willing to take any money because he was not satisfied with what he had done. When I looked at the car, it was SIGNIFICANTLY improved. He did manage to remove a lot of the unsightly dent and clean off the paint from the other car that smacked into my door. I gave him some cash anyway. As I mentioned earlier, I knew that it was tough dent due to the location and the physics of the repair. I only wanted some improvement, and he certainly did that. After over three months, I finally got my Dodge Ram back. Can't really find anything they did…read morecorrectly. After the first two weeks, I was told the truck was ready. Turns out, they over-sprayed the entire quarter panel and paint ran down the side, leaving easy to see trails. Doug failed to find or mention it and hoped we wouldn't see it. As instructed, I brought him the truck back and six weeks later, I finally got another call. Doug was unwilling to take responsibility for the quality of his work. They actually added a few more problems for me to deal with. Extra thirty miles on my truck than when I dropped it off, flat tire, couple new dents, and several new scratches around the bed. He attempted to blame the weather, his tools not working correctly, and finally opted to storm off as I continued to refer to the poor quality of his work. I have dealt with a lot of people over the years in various blue collar trades, he is by far the worst. Completely unprofessional in dealing with customers, horrible quality, the list goes on. I wouldn't have this guy work on a huffy bicycle. Onto small claims court, Doug will not be keeping my money.
