The room was impressive, spacious and comfortable. The attached restaurant was, like everything else, beautifully decorated and inviting. The menu was diverse with plenty of variety. Our dinners were beautifully done and absolute delicious, 5 star! I got room 221 which was way at the end of the hall. It was a small room with nowhere to hang my coats or bags. So I went to the casino as planned. My parents were also checked in with a group. It was great to be able to have a room. I stayed a 2nd night which I was so grateful and have a room and hang out with my parents. We had dinner at the rest spending some the evening enjoying ourselves. End of the night comes and I go bac ​ to the room and soo happy to be able to finally stay and play.

Unit was located in the basement- close to being underground. The clerk boasted there was 2 tv's. One was a wall mounted flat screen with the glass punched in. The second was an ancient 27 inch tube type in the bedroom. No thermostat to regulate heat. Carpet dirty. Living room couch was a fold out futon-quite dirty. Closet door in bedroom was ripped off the hinges and leaning against the wall. We travel with a small dog and fee was only $5.00. However, in the morning the housekeeping staff saw the wife taking the dog out for his morning routine and became verballly abusive and advised my wife she was not permitted to return to the room with the dog. She has never been verbally abused by a housekeeper before and was taken by surprise. Check-out was clumsy and unorganized. I tried to return the key and I was looking for staff to give it to. Walking by the laundry facilities, we noticed the dryer exhaust was makeshift hanging on a wire and aimed outside a partially opened door and in an enclosed area. I question the safety of the system. I suspect a fire inspection would fail. Overall, extremely poor premises,dirty, cold, poorly maintained, Client service was nonexistant. Stay anywhere but here.

I cannot officially promise that they provide the best value out of all inns in Canada as I have yet to stay at every inn in Canada. However, I can confirm that the accomodations were clean, tidy, and comfortable, and that the staff were kind and friendly. I am looking forward to making my own way to Prince George in due course as an adult, and this establishment will be my first choice of places to stay when I finally have the opportunity to do so.

Decent mid-range motel right off of Hwy 97…read more I stayed here just one night one a recent road trip. The woman at the desk was efficient, if not very patient (she appeared to be alone and the place was a bit busy when I arrived though). Price: Moderate considering the location and amenities. WiFi: Free and speedy. Cleanliness: Very good. The towels were slightly small and thin, but soft nonetheless. Room: Nice - with a three-drawer dresser, small refer, 4-cup coffee pot, mirrored closet and a desk with one chair. Television (I didn't use), a couple of night stands and a large air conditioner unit. Bathroom: Fairly basic, though the fan is a bit noisy. Shower: Here is where the star rating drops - a lot. Very good water temp, high-pressure needle spray that can't be adjusted, so if you have delicate skin, skip it. The bad part was that the shower curtain was so lightweight and the water pressure was so high, it 'sucked' the curtain into the shower area, nearly wrapping around me as I was trying to take as shower. As there was no way to adjust the water pressure or spray pattern, I had to resort to wetting the bottom of the curtain so it would stick to the tub - and leaving a 10-12 inch gap at one end so the air could escape. Seriously - it was almost like someone was standing ton the other side of the curtain and trying to hug (or otherwise caress) me through the damp material - clammy and slightly disturbing. Overall, it was a decent place to stay, but I think I'd take a pass next time since I like a relaxing shower after a long days' drive - and fending off amorous shower curtains is not my idea of relaxing.
