I found a couple books, although the selection was definitely slim. They seemed to have tons of toys for kids that were around the ages of 6-13. Three whole rooms that looked super fun with toys from floor to ceiling. As I shopped around one of the staff (I assume she was staff because she was behind the counter) was loudly scrolling through her TikTok. Her coworker ( the girl who checked me out so I know she was staff ) kept asking her to turn it down because there were customers in the store. They were yelling at each other majority of my visit. The shelves are well-stocked, the atmosphere is calm, and there's something timeless about being surrounded by rows and rows of stories, knowledge, and ideas. If you're just here for the books, you'll find what you need. But unfortunately, my experience was soured by the in-store café, specifically by one of the bartenders. Every time I've sat down for a coffee or tried to unwind with a book, she steers the conversation toward politics--unprompted and uninvited. I never brought up the subject, and yet she always seems to inject her own views into the interaction, as if she's testing or trying to "correct" me without even knowing my stance. It's uncomfortable, distracting, and frankly, not what I came to a bookstore café for. I don't expect complete silence, but I do expect neutral, professional service when I'm a paying customer. A bookstore should be a refuge from the noise of the outside world, not another place where politics is forced into the mix. Because of that constant negative experience, I've decided I won't be coming back to this location. For one thing, these pistols shoot much farther than we'd expected. Last summer, my daughter played with a set that her friends had. I'm also really impressed that it hasn't leaked yet. No joke, that is one of the biggest problems with water pistols. I've had water guns for decades, and leakage is a perpetual issue with the smaller guns, but these seem to be pretty well made. So after while I agreed and ordered another backpack from this company, paid a LOT! That was huge mistake. On Friday I got email that backpack was shipped. It was 2 days after I ordered the second one. I hoped that everything will be ok this second time. BIG MISTAKE! After 3 days from this shipping email I took a look and there was written that only label was created. UPS is still waiting for the item. I was trying to call them, message them. Resolution? They don't know where the package is. It is probably stucked in their distribution center. They need 5 bussines days to find it and if they won't then I have to contact them AGAIN to get it resolved.
