When you enter the shop, you'll be overwhelmed with the huge selection of amazing home decor and gift items. I was immediately drawn to the baby section which was filled with adorable products- everything from hair bows, to bibs to small toys. The store accepts cash and credit, and they'll be happy to giftwrap your items. Home on Haddon also runs crafting classes, the schedule and upcoming events can be found on their website. The prices start low and can get pretty steep but worth it. Throughout the store the items sold are made by small businesses from around the globe. It's a relationship the offers the workers/owners a fair price for their goods. This is important for independence and in many cases survival. On each shelf or hanger there is a story. Most items come with information about the artist or business owner. The owner of this store enthusiastically touts information about all of the items. Her zeal, passion and friendliness is another reason to stop by. My purchase was a beautiful blouse made in Thailand and a small change dish made in Kenya. The prices were more than fair and I'm enjoying my purchase. The shopping experience gave me a feel good moment. Would I shop here again? For sure!
