We also needed advice on what to plant for our barren wasteland of a "lawn" and they were amazing. We hired them to trim and remove. I have about 30 trees on my property so I have to do tree trimming every year or else all the grass starts to get choked out by the shade. Because of this I have gone through 4 different tree trimming companies since I moved in to my house here. Tree Amigos is the 5th - and at long last - the permanent one. All of the other companies I have used have done butcher cuts that looked bad, showed up late, didn't stick to original quoted prices (just absurd), and the big kicker, CUT BIG BRANCHES THAT I SPECIFICALLY SAID DO NOT CUT THIS. That last one is the biggest thing and all the previous companies did this. Right from the start Austin at Tree Amigos definitely was different. When he came out for the estimate he walked me through all his ideas and worked those around what I wanted. I felt like he actually listened to me rather than just doing whatever he wanted. His crew came right on time on the scheduled date, and he even personally came to oversee and offer direction of the crew since he wasn't able to be here on the day of. Tree Amigos is the best tree care service in this city. Full Stop. Don't look for anyone else. Just use them. You will not be disappointed in the least bit. Needed to have three 100 year old pecan trees trimmed, probably for the first time ever (professionally, unlike the previous hack and slash work). Tree Amigos said they'd be on site between 8:00am and 8:15am. First truck showed up at 8am on.the.dot - no kidding. The crew was super friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. After an initial walk thru from Austin (owner) they got straight to work. The cuts are super clean and done correctly - they are arborists and it shows! Our yard is extensively landscaped with shrubs, ornamental grasses and other decorative plants. We expected some damage but didn't find anything wrong after they left!!! Matter of fact if it wasn't for some sawdust on the roof you'd never know they were here. They went above and beyond, cleaning up not just the mess they made but picking up all the leaves and twigs. Someone else said their yard looked serviced afterwards, I can tell ya that's true! You know they're professionals by the little touches. We had some small ceramic mushrooms that my wife forgot to move. We found them safely stashed under a bench. We asked that they do the work in October so no bird nests would be disrupted because we love our wildlife. I see where one branch was cut back right to where a squirrel nest sits without disrupting it (it was an expert cut too, the remaining branch looks super healthy, probably just some dead wood on the end). That's classy and shows they're good people. Can't say enough good about Tree Amigos! Would hire them again without hesitation and recommend them highly! Great job guys! After the ice storm a very large limb broke from the heritage oak tree that stands in the middle of my driveway and fell on my roof over the garage. I contacted Andrew of Tree Amigos and he came out the very next morning. That afternoon his crew arrived and worked very carefully for about five hours and succeeded in removing the limb from my rooftop. They did an exemplary job in cleaning up and even cut the limb into fireplace size for no additional charge. Andrew is a professional arborist and was extremely pleasant to deal with and I considered his fee to be reasonable. I highly recommend him and his company and I will certainly use them again when I'm ready for more tree maintenance. read more

I have used them on my own property after the winter storm last year and a rental property this year that had a hackberry tree split from ice after the mini winter storm. Tree Amigos were recommended to us by a friend, who is a certified arborist. They really know how to take care of trees, but won't give you a hard time if you cannot do everything that they recommend. You can tell that they treat their employees well and make sure they have proper equipment. I did not shop around for our tree removal and pruning because they were so highly recommended, but our neighbors got several quotes and Tree Amigos was the lowest - our neighbors were also very happy with the work that Tree Amigos did.
