One of the aspects I look for of any business where you need to make an appointment is how easy is…read moreit to make that appointment. I was dreading making an appointment with a specialist before calling sports medicine Oregon. To my surprise making the appointment online was incredibly easy and I was able to complete everything without any need to call and speak to anybody. That was awesome! I don't have a lot of time in my day to call and go through the endless back-and-forth of trying to find a date which works. Of course with any medical provider the equality of service is the most important piece. I felt as if the doctor took the time to understand my problem and to learn what activities I wanted to get back to that I wasn't able to. He suggested physical therapy exercises that I may not have tried before and quickly made a referral to get an MRI after I told him all of the different things I had tried before coming to see them. While no one wants to go see a doctor, if you do need to see a sports medicine doctor, this is the place to go.

Too young for knee replacements, Dr. Wilson treated me for years with steroid injections and referrals for PT. When my left knee finally went out in 2013 and the right knee in 2015, Dr. Nanson was my surgeon as Dr. Wilson was no longer doing surgery. The transition of care was seamless. Having a medical condition that is now well known, I made sure to bring information to Dr. Nanson who read up on the condition, and with the asstance of a wound care expert, took special precautions that he later incorporated into all surgical recoveries. When I recently started having severe hip pain limiting my mobility, and my shoulder tendinitis decided to join the pain party, I didn't hesitate to seek assistance from Orthopedics NW. While we are still trying to identify the source of hip pain, the doctors and PAs I have seen have provided the same level of personal care and compassion. Xrays and MRIs will hopefully lead to a diagnosis and a path to regain my mobility and end the pain. My shoulder was far easier to resolve, the steroid injection gave my shoulder the relief it needed, calming the area and reducing the inflammation. The front office is as kind and efficient as the pool of doctors. Knowing my pain level, they not only sent the MRI referral immediately following my appointment, they called the facility to verify it was received. Then called me to let me know I didn't have to wait, that I could call Rayus to schedule. Had MRI appointment scheduled within an hour if my doctor visit. That is rare! Sure hoping another surgery isn't in my future - I am already bionic enough - but if it's required, I know Dr. Nanson will perform the surgery with the same precision and post surgical care as the other two surgeries. I have referred several friends, some have had hips and knees replaced, and all had same experience as me.

In addition, his current staff is the best of any clinic/hospital I go to. At 76 years old and having lived an extremely rough life as a farmer, I have had plenty of worn out and otherwise injured body parts and Dr. Huebert always has a way to fix me up. I am so glad I was referred to him by my PCP. He is top notch. For reference, I was an Army medic and have multiple university degrees in science and engineering so I am certainly in a position to notice medical excellence when I see it.

My husband was 10/10 on the pain scale for days and we were desparate. The injection worked immediately and was a life saver. Yes, Dr. Jimmy may be a cowboy but he knows what he's doing and he'll be the frst to try new FDA approved technologies. His curiosity and willingness to try new things is exceptional. If you are looking for someone conservative, he is not for you. I then saw Dr. Jimmy myself for back pain due to a car accident. He got me an MRI ASAP whereas I had been given the run around from my PCP and insurance. He started me on some experimental non invasive peptides which made me feel better immediately and gave me a lumbar injection. we were trying to avoid surgery, but ultimately after 8 months my herniated disc was causing muscle paralysis so I ended up with surgery, but he helped me through the process and continues to be a part of my care team. He is a compassionate man, a little loosy gooat on staffing and offerings, but if you are open to trying new things, he's worth checking out.

Arrived at 4:30pm-10:45pm, over 6 hours from the beginning to end. Yes is was fairly busy but I didn't think all that busy. Secondly, the restroom and the examination room were dirty, I mean gross. The underside of the toilet seat needed cleaned and the floor needed mopped. Worst of all, after the waiting and getting to the exam room, there was what we thought was fecal matter on the control panel of the bed. I cleaned the matter up using rubber gloves and wipes that were on the exam room. I am so happy I have different and better health ins.

Days to resolve a broken toe…read more My husband fell down the stairs in our home with our toddler. This happened on a Sunday. I was pretty sure he broke it, but he decided to wait until Monday morning to call the doctor to schedule an appointment. Monday morning rolls around and he makes the call at 8am. Dr. Goswami, not his usual general practitioner, saw him that same day. Great! She orders him to get an Xray done. After the Xray, we wait for her assistant to give us the results that it was, in fact, a broken toe at the joint area. My husband has been in a lot of pain hobbling around, so it was nice to hear that we would get this resolved immediately. We were told he would get a call from a referred orthopedic and someone would drop off a boot at our home for him to wear (at 10am Tuesday). Tuesday rolls around. We've been waiting the rest of the day Monday and Tuesday morning to get a call from this orthopedic. No call. My husband calls in to check up on the status and the assistant tells us that Dr. Goswami called in to the wrong referred orthopedic. The orthopedic was for a broken knee/hip when my husband needs one for his foot. So, essentially we could've waited forever if we didn't call in because it was the wrong doctor. My husband ended up spending 2 hours out of his work day to find the right orthopedic to call covered under our health insurance. 2 hours. That's 2 hours of figuring out who to talk to, talking on the phone, and then leaving a voicemail with that orthopedic. Meanwhile, at 10am, the lady comes to our home and has two types of prescribed boots/shoes. BOTH are wrong. They're for a broken ankle. One shoe my husband tried on has his toes exposed! So much for this immediate service. We're at the step of now going to the correct orthopedic on Wednesday morning and approaching day 3 of his injury/healing process. When someone has a fracture, it shouldn't take days to resolve. We're hoping the doctor doesn't have to re-break his toe to set it correctly on the 3rd day. We find it difficult to trust our bodies with medical professionals when they cannot provide an expedient, accurate service.
