A one day job turned into two days, the second day I had to be out of town. It was my mistake trusting that he would have moral ethics and complete the job true to his word; he was paid the first day. Left my yard a mess, the rocks just scattered. He didn't come out to fix them for nearly a month. None of this would have happened had he not received the check the first day. I'm really bummed that it went this way. I really wish I could have given a great review. I am thoroughly disappointed, and felt taken advantage of, that the job wasn't complete only because there wasn't anyone to inspect the final job. I will still need more tree work in the next few years. I'll certainly be going with a more professional outfit. If you need a job done half assed, your yard left a mess, a serious lack of integrity, this is the tree company for you. Update: Still dealing with stumps in the ground! read more

Unfortunately, I had almost the same experience as another customer posted: one day job took two days and even then only about halfway done and done half-ass, and I paid him before I checked his work. Tree MD Tree Care left a flyer in everyone's mailbox in my mobile home park, so I called them because I have 2 dead pine trees I'd like removed from my property. I spoke with John on 4-5 and we set up an appointment for 4-7 at 4:30pm. At 4:45pm on 4-7 I called and got John's voicemail, so I left a message asking if he was still going to come out to my property? I never received a call back nor did he ever show up. This tree was a bear as far as how big the roots were but he ground it out and left wonderfully mixed soil and mulch to plant our new tree in. I am sad to say this was not a good experience. I came here and saw all the great experiences and called Tree MD. They came out and gave a price to remove several trees from our property. When I went to look at their progress, we found they had cut two of the wrong trees. We decided to go ahead and have them remove those trees, agreed to a higher price to do it, and set a date. That was a month ago. I have called, texted and received no response. They just walked off the job. In addition to the two trees they were not to cut, they caused damage to our tenants property. We had just moved to Southern Oregon during the heavy snow year and our new home had several trees located close to the back of the house. Our home has a steep driveway and the trees we located on the back of a sloped mountain side. My husband and I got several quotes for the job. We needed 6 trees removed due to potential damage to our new home. We noticed that several of the contractors wanted to charge us more money because they couldn't drive their boom lift truck up our driveway to help them do less work. How does that make sense? Other contractors gave us the impression that because we live in a nicer area that their outrageous prices wouldn't seem abnormal to us. We were getting quotes for thousands of dollars, it was outrageous. A lot of the contractors liked to ask a lot of questions to get a feel for what seemed to me, how much money we made to figure out how much to charge us. The quotes we becoming a nightmare! The last 2 contractors we saw seemed more honest then most, Tree MD was one of those two. The owner John spoke we me without my husband and took the time to explain the process and why the work would take time. He didn't make me feel because my husband wasn't around that I was being treated unless, like a silly housewife who doesn't know anything. He walked all over my property and did a thorough evaluation for safety for himself and his crew before quoting me the job cost. He made me feel like I mattered as a customer and that he would be careful and respectful of my other plants and furniture I might have outside. A lot of contractors are messy and inconsiderate of home owners belongings and leave trash etc.., but Tree MD isn't one of those contractors.
