We lost our giant oak and a few massive pines after Hurricane Milton! We contacted Kevin and were put on the books almost immediately. Him and his crew were very respectful and competent in all they did. They did an incredible amount of work in three days. It was fascinating watching how they managed such a large task safely. They took all debris and ground all the stumps and left the area clean. I feel they did everything I asked them to in a timely manner. I also felt the cost was a fair price. If we could rate this Company zero stars, we would. Stay away from this guy (Kevin) and his company. Before getting started on the work product, I'd like to first mention that this man saw fit to bring a gun to our home, and for whatever reason, to show it my wife. Not sure what the point of this was, but how unprofessional? What possible reason would any tree service have in bringing a firearm to a homeowner jobsite and show it to someone's wife? Very strange! Anyway, we hired Kevin to trim a 30+ year oak tree in our back yard, to do a minor trim on another large oak, to raise the canopy on a small oak, and to take down a very small (6ft.) tree in our front yard. Not only did Kevin not raise the canopy on the small oak, and not take down the 6 foot tree, it didn't appear that he removed more than one or two small branches on the second large oak. He was basically paid for work he didn't complete. But the worst of it is what transpired on the main job. Kevin was supposed to significantly trim down the 30+ year oak in our back yard, but he only trimmed one-half of the tree and didn't touch the other half at all. It looks completely ridiculous having half the tree cut down on one side without the other side not being touched at all. Who the hell trims a tree like that? NO ONE! The problem was that instead of Kevin staying on the job to supervise his team, he left to go for a massage instead of doing his job. We know this because he told us so, and because he was not onsite for most of the day. Further, he told us on the phone that he came back to our property at some point, but also told us he didn't see the final work product because he "couldn't get out of his car with his massage clothes on." When we called Kevin to tell him we were unhappy with his work, not only did he start to make a bunch of excuses, he even had the nerve to tell us that he trimmed the tree exactly how we told him to trim it. These guys are supposed to be professionals, and all of the excuses in the world Kevin tries to use for not doing the job correctly, just doesn't play. Besides, who in the hell in their right mind would ever tell someone to butcher half of a tree on one side while not touching the other side at all? Exactly, NO ONE. We certainly never did, and again, why would we? The tree looks completely unbalanced. As professionals, you would think these guys would know better. Further, because Kevin was absent getting his massage, my wife explicitly asked Kevin's team whether they were going to cut the other side of the tree while they were in the middle of working. Much to her surprise, they told her "NO." At 62 years old, I've had plenty of trees trimmed over my lifetime, and no one has ever trimmed a tree to look the way Kevin left our tree. Further, we had another tree company come look at what Kevin's company did to our tree, and they too agreed it looked ridiculous. Last, we spoke to a few of Kevin's other customers, and they told us they too have had problems with Kevin. Wished we would've know that in advance. Kevin appears to be all about money, and he couldn't give a rip about what customers think about his work. The bottom line is this. Kevin refused to come back to even look at his team's work unless he was going to be paid an additional fee; notwithstanding that he never saw his team's finished work product for himself. How do you run a company like that? If we were to run our business that way, we wouldn't have a business for very long. In the end, if you ever have a problem with Kevin's work, please know that it'll end up being your problem instead of his. Do yourself a favor and use another tree company. And don't make the mistake of believing the other posted reviews of Kevin's company like we did (who knows who wrote them) because they certainly do not reflect our experience. There are plenty of reputable tree companies out there, but from our perspective, this just isn't one of them. read more

We had an extremely large oak in backyard. It was hanging over roof, pool screen, and a fence. Access to the tree was very tight, 6-8 feet wide. He has great equipment that he got into the yard without moving fence or accessing neighbors yard. His price was WAY below other companies. He was highly recommended by neighbors. They finished in a day and cleaned up thoroughly. He left us fire wood as we requested. His crew even blew off the screen enclosure when finished. Only regret is that I didn't cover my pool. Didn't realize the sawdust would go right through the mesh. We plan to hire him again to trim other large trees infringing on our property. read more

The workers were great but the owner was incredibly obnoxious and condescending when he was here and the woman that answers the phone acts like you are just the most annoying thing in the world for calling to hire them. I have no idea why this rude woman still has a job. They didnt seem very careful when it came to cutting the limbs, i thought they were going to break my fence because the owner kept telling them not to rope the limbs. Even if there work was stellar, i would hire someone else that doesnt talk doen to my wife and whos day im not ruining by calling. read more
