Our project consisted of removing 20+ trees and grinding the trunks and roots down 8". Most of the…read moretrees were pine, dying, dangerously high, and a good number of them were very large. Several of our neighbors recommended Paul Mapes, aka The Tree Dr. Paul worked well with us, came out twice to inspect the trees and finalize 2 quotes - a wish list and minimum package, both were reasonable and better than the other companies we contacted. Due to the weather, the job took about two weeks, and throughout that time communication with Paul was great! We always knew when he was going to be here and what the plan was. The whole team was diligent and very careful to avoid causing damage to our home, fence, grass, and swings. As you can see from the pictures at the below link a good part of the yard was filled with large roots from many of the trees, they did an excellent job removing all those roots. We are grateful to Paul and his team for a job well done, and recommend them to anyone who needs tree work. We certainly will be using them again in the future. Their voicemail and website say 24 hour service. However they did not call back on multiple occasions during normal business hours or after hours as they advertise and schedule appointments .
