These were beautiful, mature magnolias that are around 20 years old. I asked for trimming. Instead, they lifted the canopy about 5-6 feet off the ground and completely butchered the natural shape of the trees. Anyone with real knowledge of tree care should know that magnolias are not meant to be pruned this way. Decades of growth were ruined in literally 5 minutes. I was honestly heartbroken when I saw the result -- I literally cried. These trees were one of the most beautiful parts of my property, and now they look unnatural and stripped. This kind of damage cannot simply be undone. To be fair, the tree removal itself was handled adequately, but the trimming work on the magnolias showed a serious lack of knowledge, judgment, and care. I deeply regret trusting them with trees that took decades to grow.

A deal killer for me was the statement of also running an animal rescue business as a non-profit and the statement that "we really need the work" as well as that she would have to secure an insurance certificate for me prior to beginning work instead having one available at this time. After she left, I went and did additional research and only found about one review per year on several different sites as well as on BBB only having six in total, a small amount for 25 years I would think. And as for the animal rescue operation she claimed, a Facebook account with no post since 2023 (Triple Seven Rescue Ranch), no records of such an operation listed on the federal register or on the Texas Comptroller or Texas Secretary of State database. Can NOT recommend due to an obvious inability to present a truthful account of the business.
