Incredible restaurant in Lisbon - the food was delicious (you have to try the Kharcho Soup), the waitress (Deizy, I think) was very kind with great recommendations and guidance. The atmosphere is homey and cozy; making it a great place to try solo (like I did) or enjoy with a few friends. (If you try solo, as Deizy warned me, the portions are generous ) read more
Ok, my travels took me to Portugal. Why not try a Georgian restaurant. We started with the Adjaruli. It was outstanding. Kind a fire oven cooked bread that was perfectly crisp and soft in the middle. The bread housed a bed of cheese and egg yolk. Our server mixed the cheese and yolk. What a dish that is uniquely Georgian. Main course was lamb chops. Those were good, the cook was perfect could have used a tad more seasoning. Great experience, great service and excellent food. read more
Really delicious and unique. This is apparently the only Georgian restaurant in Portugal, and we don't have this type of food where I live either, so we had to try it. Very cheese and carb centric, but I love how they clearly indicated what was gluten-free. read more
i've never had georgian food before, but the khachapuri adjaruli (a boat-shaped bread filled with egg and cheese) was so good i still dream about it. prices were extremely reasonable and there's lots of outdoor seating. our waitress was sooo adorable and spoke fluent english/russian/portugese (and apparently some japanese??). read more

I recently visited this restaurant and, unfortunately, it was one of the most disappointing dining experiences I've had in a long time. As someone who enjoys cuisine from the Georgian region, I was really looking forward to the meal, but the overall experience fell significantly short of expectations. To start, the service was notably poor. The hostess was unfriendly from the outset, setting an uncomfortable tone. After we ordered appetizers, wine, and main dishes, the appetizers and wine arrived relatively quickly, but the food was cold, under-seasoned, and served with stale, flavorless bread that seemed several days old. Despite these issues, we decided to wait for the main course, hoping it would improve. However, after waiting an additional 40 minutes with no sign of our entrees or any check-ins from our waitress, I approached her at the bar to inquire about our food. Her response was disheartening--she asked what we had ordered, as if she hadn't remembered, and then admitted she "probably made a mistake." There was no apology, only a dismissive, "Do you still want it? It will take 15 more minutes, maybe longer." She offered no options besides either waiting or settling the check. Mistakes are understandable, but the lack of professionalism, courtesy, and basic hospitality was astonishing. This experience left much to be desired, and I cannot recommend this restaurant based on this visit. read more
