I feel every penny I spent was well worth it. With cost of electricity going up at the rate it is, they will pay for themselves sooner than I expected. I want people to know, J-Co Solar has been here through the whole process and always responds in a timely manner. I know I will be taken care of. I can tell you when my neighbors electric bills come in or their power goes out, I dont worry about any of those issues because my lights are always on and my light bills make me smile each time I get one. What I also appreciated was that they do not just focus on selling you solar. They also looked at energy efficiency and helped identify upgrades that could reduce my overall usage, which I think is a big part of the value. Saving energy and producing energy should go hand in hand. A full battery system was out of my budget for now, but I was glad to learn there were still daylight backup options that let me use solar power during a daytime outage. That made solar feel a lot more practical for me now, while still giving me the option to add a battery later. Most of the delays I experienced had more to do with New Orleans permitting and Entergy-related bureaucracy than Solar Alternatives. Unfortunately, that seems to come with the territory here. Even so, my total timeline was about 3 months, which still seems better than a lot of what I found online, where 4 to 6 months looks pretty normal.

Employees of Posigen inadvertently removed the solar energy panels from the roof of my residence around March or April of 2022. They were supposed to remove the solar energy panels from the roof of the house NEXT DOOR. In the process of removing the solar energy panels they damaged my roof when they pulled the lug nuts out of my roof. I have been communicating with your company ever since about getting her roof replaced. There was an agreement reached to replace the shingles, the felt and the damaged decking. The company you sent replaced the shingles but not the felt or the decking. There are now soft spots in my roof where the decking has deteriorated. Since the company you sent to repair her roof did not replace the felt or decking water intruded into my attic and has damaged the sheet rock, insulation and paint throughout my house. My home is now FULL of mold! This will need to be repaired and my possessions will need to be moved into storage while the repairs are being performed. They have destroyed my home! NOW MY HOME IS FULL OF MOLD

Less than a year later, our fence already looks like it's 10 years older than theirs. The wood has excessive knots, several boards appear to be decaying, and now boards are even coming loose. I called to report the issues, and someone in the office told me they would send someone out to inspect the boards for replacement. Unfortunately, no one ever came or followed up. We paid approximately $7,000 for this fence, not including the additional payment processing surcharge of around $200 they charged before and after the job. Based on my experience with the quality of the materials, the lack of follow-up, and the customer service, I would not recommend Fence King. Dan, Your response is inconsistent with what we were promised. We specifically requested that our fence match our neighbor's fence, and we were assured that is exactly what we would receive. The fact that our fence looks years older and is already showing signs of rot while our neighbor's fence is not is unacceptable. We paid our balance in full because we believed we had received the quality fence we paid for. It wasn't until the wood began discoloring, deteriorating, and showing signs of premature decay that we realized there was a serious problem. We contacted your company as soon as these issues became apparent and were assured that someone would come out, inspect the fence, and replace any defective boards. Those promises were never fulfilled. You stated that someone came out to inspect the fence. We have security cameras covering our entire property, so please provide the exact date and approximate time of that visit so we can verify it. To our knowledge, no one has ever come to inspect the fence. You also stated that multiple calls were made to my wife and me. Please provide the dates, times, and phone numbers used. Neither of us has any missed calls or voicemails from your company regarding this matter. The fence was installed in early 2025, cost approximately $7,000, and is already experiencing rotting boards, loose pickets, and a level of deterioration that should not occur in such a short period of time. That is not the quality of workmanship or materials we paid for. If your company is unwilling to honor its commitments and correct these issues, I will pursue every available legal and consumer avenue to hold your company accountable. I am requesting that you either stand behind your work or provide the documentation supporting the claims made in your response.

You leave a voicemail, but no one ever follows up. I've also called our sales representative multiple times with no answer. When I texted, I received what appeared to be a generic, pre-written response that didn't address my questions. We have dogs, and the contract states there is an additional fee if the yard isn't cleaned up beforehand, which I think is completely reasonable. However, the company scheduled our installation for last week, placed their sign in our yard (which is also required by their contract), and then never showed up. Unfortunately, our HOA prohibits signs unless work is actively being performed, so we ended up receiving a $25 fine because the sign was left in our yard without any installation taking place. At this point, the communication has been very poor once partial payment was made. I'll update my review after the installation is completed, but so far, I'm not impressed with the experience.
