    Cabra salad (goat cheese) 6,50€

Delicious gem in the crowded streets near Mercat Central (The Central Market of Valencia). Quaint looking café with pastries on display at the front. Walk in and seat yourself, and the waiter will provide you with a menu. Quite delicious CABRA SALAD (goat cheese) 6,50€ + freshly squeezed ORANGE JUICE 2€. Really though... after 2 weeks of nothing but carbs and jamón (ham), I was dying for some greens! The goat cheese, which came in 2 large circles drizzled with some sort of flavorful vinaigrette sauce, seemed to have been pan fried. It was crispy just on the exterior, and smooth and cheesy as can be on the inside. I love how you can find yourself a refreshing cup of freshly squeezed juice just about anywhere in Spain. Olive oil seems to home-made -- there were a couple of leaves happily soaked in the clear glass dispenser. Great ambience here with a friendly chef. The salad was not AS filling as I'd hoped, but it would make a great quick lunch with an early dinner.

Very cute & quaint aura and good location-- very close to a lot of the tourist attractions if you're seeing them and suddenly feeling hungry. But it's not a huge draw for a ton of tourists, as when we were there only a couple other people were in the cafe as well. If you want a quiet break this is the perfect place to stop off. There are English menus for anyone who doesn't speak Spanish, and the pricing is pretty good. The service was also very friendly and open However, there was nothing too special about the food. It was a little on the bland side, but overall a good experience together.

Friendly, fresh & simply delicious! A beautiful 'Ambiente' compliments the food perfectly. ...we even got a little gift of crispy hot popcorn to prepare us for our sandwiches! My wife had salmon and I had chicken - both were perfect. Highly recommended!

Great little corner with coffee and pastries tucked away behind the central market place. Stop in for a cortado and a midday snack (sweet or salty) to refuel as locals talk business beside you. Thoughtful, considerate staff, and simple-elegant meals in a chic location. Order coffee the Spanish way: café (solo) is a simple espresso; café con leche is an espresso with milk; café cortado is an espresso with only a drop of milk to reduce bitterness; café bonbon is espresso with sweetened condensed milk.

Service was really good, attentive. We ordered everything to share and we may have ordered a bit too much, but It was all very good. Wanted to try the croquetas since they were homemade. The were good. We ordered the lobster and cheese ones. Liked that the lobster one wasn't fishy. The patatas bravas had a homemade alioli that was really good but it was too much. I'd ask for that on the side next time, but I loved that the potatoes were crispy!! So big score there! The burrata was good, what you'd expect from a burrata. Nothing extraordinary, but we devoured it. The little steak toasts with foie gras were tasty, we ate them so fast we didn't have a chance to take a photo! They were really good with a little apple sauce on the side. The jamón cecina had a strange brownish color on some pieces. We didn't finish it. The mussels were interesting with coconut milk and curry. Wish we had asked for bread to dip in the sauce. The service was good. We got new plates when the pasta ragú came out. We ordered a Valencia wine, which we liked. We'd come again. Make reservations and expect the same outstanding service. Good find!

For our a pair teeth, we started with agua Valencia. Be careful, it's orange juice from Valencia oranges mixed with gin, vodka and cava. it doesn't taste very strong, but it has quite a kick. One piece was enough. For food we started with and shared papas bravas. Next were the lobster croquettes. Fabulous. The real show stopper was the zucchini carpaccio. No real way to describe it except exceptionally tasty. We lastly shared the duck confit. Fall off the bone delicious. Wonderful food, reasonably priced and epic service from Nicholas and Abril. This is certainly the place to try for a casual buy delicious meal.
