This small shop has such a fun variety of toys, games, arts & craft items, and a neat selection of unique gift items. Reminded my of a Learning Express store, so we are happy to have something similar back in the area. The associates greeted us upon entering, and were are friendly and helpful throughout our visit, and they were readily available to explain and demonstrate products. We were able to find a game that we couldn't find anywhere else locally, so that was a win. Their prices are comparable to high, however with their fun selection of products that you won't find everywhere, it's worth the specialty store prices. We didn't have too much time to shop around, but I definitely plan to make a trip back soon for more fun finds!

They have every kind of romance (my preferred genre) you can think of, including some hard to find books. The aesthetic is SO COOL. They have very reasonably priced Blind Date with a Book selection and the cute merch inside is some of the best I've seen. I was looking for a specific book series that they didn't have but they had no problem looking it up for me and seeing if it was available. Staff was friendly and helpful. I can't wait to go back and bring a friend of mine who is dying to make it here as well. I had just missed an author signing so plan to throw them a follow to see who goes to visit their store!

But a few times a year, we have Customer Appreciation Warehouse Sale Events, which we shorten to CAWSE - these are open to educators like principals, librarians, and teachers, or anyone who works at or volunteers at schools. Home schoolers are welcome too. Don't be expecting your Saks Fifth shopping experience, folks - this is a warehouse after all. It could be hot in the summer, cold in the winter. Shopping carts, if you're lucky enough to snatch one, are liable to be rickety and a little rusted. The merchandise is not for the most part attractively displayed, nor is there a rhyme or reason as to how they are arranged - at least not one that the uninitiated will understand. But the selection and PRICE are tremendous. Most items are 50% off during CAWSE, with only a few select new and prized merchandise being 'only' 20% off. We take credit cards, cash, and purchase orders, and the staff are helpful and friendly if you can track one down. Check it out if you're qualified to shop here!

With four sons it's kind of hard no to be coaxed into "just a minute, I swear" stops. Although I wouldn't shop for myself in this store, the staff is always friendly, the store is always hoppin' and the kids are drawn to it; not just mine, but lots of skater-types. Recently my husband and I visited Zumiez while Christmas shopping. We have 6 yr-old twins, who like their older siblings, want to skate. based on their size, skills, abilities, etc. Damien was able to knowledgeably assist us with choosing the right size board, the trucks we should get, etc to assure a safe ride and a good fit for the boys. Michelle assisted us with sizing the boys for helmets to ensure that they were fitted securely and that we would have the right size pads and gear for the boys as well. While talking to Michelle, we were discussing a problem we have with one of my sons' surf boards too and being that she surfs, she was happy to provide us some insight on who may be able to help us. etc. Good information to know!
