In comparison, Numiru is always welcoming, quick, and friendly. The front half is sealed cards, board games, collectibles, and some books. Back half is singles, tables for games, and some drinks. While they don't have every product always, the selection they do have is at market price and varied. As we all know, Pokémon is the hot thing to scalp, and I always know that Numiru will have my back and at least a pack to buy in these trying times. They're only open Thursday-Sunday, but that's fine with me. For the value, friendliness, and lack of that certain something that makes me scared to ask questions in other shops, I'll wait for Numiru.

They have a wide range of trading cards, my kids were excited by the numerous versions of Pokémon. The prices are also reasonable. It seems like a small shop, but they have an excellent selection of board games, collectibles (funko, Star Wars, etc) books and snacks/drinks. The back of the store is setup for to play games and various tournaments. I was impressed with how clean the store was as well. It's really just everything about it, the music, the dry humor in a lot of the items they sell, all of it. I'm a huge Bowie fan and they have his pretty face plastered on so many things. It always makes me smile when I see all the merchandise too. They do fun mystery bags. They have one for CD's, stickers, and DVDs. I have no idea what kind of DVD or CD's they'd include so I went ahead and bought one for stickers and was very pleasantly surprised at the variety and already added some of them to my computer and water thermos. The name of the store could not be more perfect Boom Art, because it truly is a booming experience. I ended up purchasing an ecclectic Jewelry Box that had the Marvel Characters embedded on the box, which included Superman, Spiderman, and the Hulk to name a few. I arrive soon after they opened and interacted with the employees immediately. I was told and if I need anything to just let them know, and I just said, dice. They appointed me to the back of the store and told me where they would be. I wandered them back and took a look at their selection. I immediately found a set that would fit the bill for this occasion. I looked through a bunch of the store before having someone get them from the cabinet for me. I felt that I did really good because I only bought one comic book. I love these stores because everyone is friendly that works in them and I can always find way too many things that I want to buy. If you have young children that are struggling to start reading, you should consider starting them on comic books and getting them to actually read the words in them because it has been proven that children who start with comic books tend to learn to read younger, and then read throughout their lives . Obviously, you should only buy things that you feel are safe for your children, and there is always something to fit that bill.

When you walk in, you will see a long counter bar, on the left, with plenty of seats where you can order freshly made cookies and pretzels, along with a variety of floats. On the right side, you will see many products to purchase. Towards the back of the shop, on the left, there were a few couches surrounding a big screen TV where you can play games. Just beyond that, was a large table with chairs that can be used for things like playing board games, trading cards and enjoying the yummy treats they sell. Apparently they have some board games in the back that they can retrieve or you can bring your own. The right side had 2 mini arcade style machines, along with 4 gaming stations. They each had a docking station for you to use your own Nintendo switch. We were told it was all free to play. Wow! Finally, the bathroom. The bathroom is decorated in a Super Mario theme, which is so appropriate right now with the new Super Mario Bros move right now in theaters. What a way to get the kids out of the house, in a nice environment where the family can enjoy playing some games together.
