This review is strictly about how the owner chose to handle the situation. I went in looking to buy a structure deck for the new Gundam card game that just released. The staff member confirmed they had four decks in stock, but said they weren't selling them yet because they hadn't received their full shipment and were worried about scalpers. I completely understood that concern, so I explained I only wanted one deck for myself. Even then, she said the owner refused to sell them because they wanted to use the decks for an event to teach people how to play. I mentioned I wouldn't be able to attend the event and just wanted to buy the product, but they still said no. I honestly don't know how they're going to run an event with only four structure decks. It's frustrating to be turned away when they clearly had the product in stock, especially since I've had several good experiences with this shop in the past. Again, I really appreciate how well the staff member handled the situation. Unfortunately, the owner's decision here made for a very disappointing experience. If you're looking for Gundam products, this is not the store to go to.

They don't care if you're a subscriber, if you're not there, they will sell your books to other people. The clerk just tells you "Oh sorry, we're all sold out." when in fact that shouldn't have mattered because you were subscribed to it. This store won't last long with such unprofessional, not to mention idiotic and greedy, business practices. I've been coming to this store since they opened last year. As serious antique customers, we prefer real antique stores and unfortunately did not find that had to have item. I think it says something when the customer, after walking a third of the store, starts looking up other antique stores to visit next. It was worth stopping by; however, we will not be adding Wirewood Market to our favorites list for yearly trips.

She was ecstatic to find three Putz Houses (Paper Houses) that she had to buy. Two were selling for $12.95 each and the other for $4.95. The staff were great and gently wrapped all of my mom's items to protect them for the trip back to NY. The store is immaculate and decorated beautifully, we easily spent 45-mn to an hour here. They also have a little coffee station available for customers shopping here and the coffee is very good. There is a lot to see here and if you know anyone who owns a log cabin or cottage, bring them with you because they will be in heaven! I highly recommend stopping here if you happen to be shopping in the area. I know it won't be our last time shopping here.
