Hello ladys and gentlemen..well i hardly ever leave a bad review on people but this is one time…read morethat want to warn you all not to take any kind of equipment to this place for them to fix just because they came and picked up my cub cadet mower only cause the carburetor will not let it start so if someone works on lawn equipment alot it should be a easy fix but now they have had it going on 2 months and my grass is 6 feet tall and everytime we call to see how its coming along he always says he hasnt looked at it yet ..i work hard and long hours on nightshift and dont have time to work on it myself is why i didnt try to fix it myself but am a honest man and hate to leave a bad report on places cause things happens but this place needs to be shut down before they think they can do anybody like they have us ..please look for someone else to fix your equipment or if you dont need it until next year you can let them fix it but i got a big yard and need the lawn mower back a month ago ...so just letting everyone know they are either extremely slow or have no idea how to fix yard equipment...first time in years i have gave a bad report on anybody but this place is a rip off and want everybody know this before they do anybody else like they have done to us and yes one of the Washington County Virginia sheriff's deputies stopped by to see why this grass is 6 feet tall for but this company does not care ..thanks to everyone that has read this review...hope everybody has a blessed Sunday and holiday tomorrow

You can't hardly go through Bristol without seeing some of their work. That being said, you will almost immediately start to recognize their work. They seem to use the same plant lists for just about every design. However, the work is quality. I would recommend using a different landscape architect but having them do the install. Rates are a little steep, but you get what you pay for. The garden center itself is nice with a good selection of plants, but not too many natives or edibles (what I like). The greenhouses there have changed hands in management several times recently, so depending on who is working it, you may find some quality annuals and bedding plants. Some years may be off though. The staff at the garden center is great on the right day. If the right people are there, they can be wonderfully helpful and communicative. Otherwise, you may be out of luck. Final words: Use these guys for the plants and the plantin', but find a better designer!

Trees and shrubs look great, actually better than I expected. We will hire Velasco Family Lawn Care again and would highly recommend. Very fair, very good work and nice honest people. Also very respectful. You will notice in the picture some dead parts of the shrubs, that is due to letting them get overgrown not from Velasco Family Lawn Care. They did a great job on our home. We will have them back in the spring to mulch and remove rock and brick edging.

They used common sense when deciding when damaged sheathing had to be replaced--didn't leave rotton wood and didn't spend extra money replacing good wood. They staggered the asphalt shingles correctly instead of laying them in rows up the roof with only a 6 inch overlap. They were ready with drip edge when we asked for it on the job even though we hadn't planned on that beforehand. They brought in a good sized crew who all knew what they were doing, worked hard, and got the job done quickly. They cleaned up the site well too.
