Let me first off saying this was the most unprofessional experience I've dealt with my entire…read moretenure of being in business. This company { owner } Robert Harris offered a service that he couldn't provide. I reach out to him on June 8th to create a website paid the deposit on June 10th . Let me also note that he was recommended by someone he previously created a site for. He had given a discount due to this recommendation. He gave me a deadline of 14 days that the site would be completed, however he also stated during the creation process he would be reaching out to me to make sure he captured my vision for me site. I sent him over all content and information that he was requiring within the same day. In return he was suppose to be giving me updates I would call and never get him it was always we are in a staff meeting I would return your call so on certain occasion he would and I was constantly asking for the site info to finally on day 14 when the site was suppose to be completed he send over what he had created in which it wasn't anywhere toward the vision he and I discussed or geared toward my actual business or services I was providing. We spoke again and he knew how frustrated I was and he said that he would work on it over the weekend and would be in contact and for me to contact him, well I did... no answer at all! So I reached back out at this time we are 30 days in with no site and I asked to cancel the entire project and refund my deposit in WHICH HE AGREED, stating I would have it in a couple of days that was on July 13th. The person who referred me to him was now wanting to get involved because he stated to them that would do the return also. They have been contacting him and not getting a response and which now they are no longer going to do business with them. As of today July 25th still no refund no answer from this company at all. I have all documentation and email exchanges that occurred with this company for proof. WARNING PLEASE DON'T DO ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY OR ROBERT HARRIS THEY ARE VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT TRUSTWORTHY AT ALL. I HAVE FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU AND NOW FILING WITH SMALL CLAIMS COURT TO RECEIVE MY DEPOSIT-BACK OF 250.00 in which he stated would be processed and returned and I hadn't seen it yet. Geoff Calkins has been called a muckraker. He's been accused of not supporting the hometown sports…read moreteams enough. He's been called overly critical and too quick to jump on a negative story. An opportunist. I should know. I've said all of these things about him myself. Worse, in fact. But Geoff is also the first to find the human story within the sports story. He reminds us that athletes and coaches are real people, not just machines programmed to give us our desired adrenaline rush every few days or weeks. Even his "negative" stories are negative only in that they call out those who seem to place their own ego over team, or their own selfish ends over ethical concerns. He reminds me that the reason I like sports is not just the competition, but the connection that they give me to my brother, my dad, and others to whom I am close. Geoff is a top-notch writer (ps: he can be pretty freakin' funny, too). He may well be the best columnist--not just sports columnist, but columnist, period--that our local paper has.

I have experienced a problem with Comcast that may be systemic. Due to a bill exceeding $240, I…read moredecided to cut back. One of my cutbacks involved removing one of my digital boxes, and replacing it with a converter box that only costs $3 per month. I took it to the service center to swap the two boxes, and found that the converter box doesn't work. I took it back, they gave me another one, and it doesn't work. I took it back a third time, and asked them to check it to make sure it works before giving it to me. They told me they could not test it, and gave me a third box. They are obviously recycling bad boxes, I guess hoping that their poor victim will give up or do the testing for them. Comcast is a monopoly, and it has all the bad traits of the US post office when it comes to service. Since one digital box gets you access to Infinity, I've decided to have one digital box with a DVR, and subscribe only to the digital starter package. I use the wireless router to access Netflix and Infinity to order movies or TV shows that I actually want to see.

They are terrible. They ran lines in my neighborhood almost a year ago and the cable is still…read morerunning above ground across my yard and driveway even though I have put in 2 request to please bury the line. You cannot get anyone on the phone to respond! I am cancelling them and going with a provider who has buried lines. Getting someone on the phone with Xfinity takes an act of God.
