They follow COVID guidelines. During one of my cleanings, I was told that I had a small cavity and they would take care of it. The procedure wasn't fully explained to me before starting but they drilled out a small portion of my tooth. I was told it was so they could get all of the cavity out and fill it. Well, that tooth has been more sensitive and problematic than it has ever been. I visited them two times the following week so they could examine the tooth and determine why it was so sensitive. The staff could not figure it out and recommended a root canal. They took x-rays on all 3 visits and couldn't figure out why the tooth hurt. The staff was annoyed that I kept coming back and I could really tell they were fed up. A customer should never feel this way. I went to the dentist they recommended and they performed another x-ray. This dentist explained that fillings could take up to 6 weeks for the sensitivity to calm down. He also told me that the the filling looked loose or had too much adhesive and that could be causing the sensitivity. I was charged $200 for that visit. At least this dentist was honest with me and recommended against a root canal. I was told that he would send his findings to this review's office but I have still not heard from them. I never saw the proof that I had a cavity in the first place.

At my May 2025 visit, I was told that my insurance would cover the appointment and that I didn't have a balance. Months later, I was unexpectedly informed that I actually owed money--due to a mistake the office manager made. Instead of owning up to the error, she shifted the blame onto me, even though it was her responsibility to verify the information before assuring me I owed nothing. What's most disheartening is that this was handled without the same care and integrity Dr. Darlington himself showed. I now have a balance on my account and a sadness in my heart. Everyone makes mistakes--but it's not okay to gaslight loyal customers or avoid accountability. As someone who values honesty, responsibility, and professionalism in business, I cannot recommend this office. I asked if I should go ahead and get all four of my wisdom teeth out but because I chose to do local anesthesia instead of IV sedation, he recommended that I just get the two bottoms out first then come back for the others. Being very cost-sensitive, I chose the best option for me, which would have completed my front teeth with a bridge for under $4,000. It was very explicitly described by the treatment coordinator, Casie Deisher, during the last entire portion of our conversation, that for under $4,000, I could have the front teeth done with a permanent solution, followed by other needed dental work in the future, which is not front-facing. After committing to the initial $650 following the consultation, I was scheduled for the next appointment. However, at that appointment, the cost had increased to no less than $9,000. Casie Deisher, who presented the plan, remembered she had mentioned the solution for under $4,000 but couldn't remember how she arrived at that figure. Eventually, she emailed me a solution that would involve placing a temporary "flipper" in my mouth until future work could be completed. This appears to be a bait-and-switch ploy by Dr. Jason Collier and Casie Deisher that is probably successful with people who can afford the higher cost, as they initially sucked me in with a $650 commitment expecting that I would be able to pay for their bait-and-switch cost of $9,000.
