I've been cat + housesitting here for about 2 years & always enjoyed my stay. Very spacious, 1 bedroom. Nice view out back by the Center of The Universe along with the surrounding buildings. Speaking of 1 bedroom, there are many 1 bedroom lofts to choose from. A plus of what I enjoy about this spot is that everything food-wise is in walking distance. DGX is in walking distance as well for me to make a quick store run. On weekends during the times I've been there, local restaurants like Sisserou's & Chimera have hosted breakfast + brunches at the clubhouse. Package deliveries + drop-offs have never been an issue with me for the resident. All-around good experience. read more

One star for location, ZERO for everything else. The Metro at Brady and Tribune Lofts look appealing from a distance. Once you get up close and live there, the appeal quickly changes. American Residential Group- the owner and property management company have no interest in your satisfaction as a tenet. From my experience complaints are given lip service and when I made my complaints to ARG Owners as a result Senior Vice President of Property Management, answered by sending a non renewal of lease to me. It was fine with me as I was already packing my bags. There was no way that paying over $1,600.00 per month for a badly constructed so called "luxury" apartment was going to continue. Here is why Almost EVERY Saturday and Sunday- Glass bottles of alcohol, loud music and drunk people, take over the pool courtyard. Residents and their many friends play football running at the pool, increase the volume of the music as the party does on. None of this was ever handled promptly, let alone courteously. ARG Vice President has responded to me in writing that The Metro at Brady and Tribune Lofts has a Courtesy Patrol to support residents, unfortunately Courtesy Patrol is not courteous, they hang up after telling residents they are not on duty and to take it up with the Property Manager.. Hmm, Property Manager tells me to call Courtesy Patrol and Courtesy Patrol tells me to call Property Manager. Enjoying my luxury apartment home in a peaceful manner was not possible on any given Summer weekend. The pool is gross, trash from tenants parties regularly floats in or sinks to the bottom of the pool. Algae grows on tiles and in the skimmer. The pool area is dirty debris on ground, spills are never cleaned off concrete so there are stains, tiles on fire pit fall off daily,lounge cushions never cleaned, the furniture is not comfortable, the grill is disgusting and outdoor sink is not useable. Amenities residents pay for but are not provided in a useable manner. Trash is overflowing from the dumpsters. Management does not assure pet waste bins are emptied, causing health and safety concerns for residents and their pets. In fact even though I am no longer a resident you can choose my name on the door kiosk and I can buzz them in from my new home across town. Don't be fooled into thinking you are secure in the locked key card access building, you are not. I do not recommend living at this property. My opinion is this company is not developing properties to accommodate their residents, they are simply interested in making huge profits while acting like they are giving back to the communities they receive huge tax breaks from. Living downtown is great, just don't choose American Residential Group property like the Metro at Brady and Tribune Lofts. Many more options are available downtown. read more

I've been living at the Tribune for 2 years, and I highly recommend it. For perspective, I notice all of the small details, and I'm picky! The lofts are well constructed, and the building was renovated well. It has a very kind group of tenants/good vibes all around, and there is a feeling of privacy. The roof is a fun and rustic spot to hang out, and I love the pool. I swim laps in the pool often, and barring a very recent storm (temporary tree leaves) it is generally very clean, inside and out. Property management has been nothing less than great, from the leasing process to a maintenance request to anything at all. They're very kind, professional, timely, and efficient. I moved in last September as I was commuting to Tulsa every week to Tulsa from Houston and just recently moved out as my job assignment ended. The Lofts are a perfect location if you do not have a car and you are working downtown. Richard is an excellent property manager and if there was something to be fixed it was taken care of immediately. Outside noise, i.e., train, construction can be a little bothersome at first but you get use to it. The location is great for dining/music/sports as everything is in walking distance. I lived in a 1 bedroom on the back side of the 4th floor and it was plenty big with good storage. You have a roof top patio that is a great place to relax and a pool next door for relaxation and grilling. read more

New complaint against This letter contains the last complaint as well American Residential Group 2624 East 21st Street Tulsa OK 74114 Dear BBB, Since my last letter, Becky of American residential Groups have broken more promises. After our week of leaks and our apartment covered in plastic and our floor covered in degusting dirty roof water and ?. Becky agreed to pay for a cleaning crew, not that they offered to clean up -at all? She was even here when the cleaning showed up??? Now she is not honoring that arrangement. Also for the last year our dryer that we rent every month from them takes about 5,6,or 7 cycles to dry clothing, raising our electric bill every month. I've been calling since then to fix the problem. The appliance guy has been here three times. He say's "it's the way the vent was set up in this apartment" regardless I finally asked for a new dryer, since we have to rent them - I want a new one, maybe that would fix the problem. They brought a 3-year model (of course they did!) it a little better but the appliance guy and the buildings own maintenance guy said it's the way the building put in the vent. I mentioned this to Becky and she blew it off. As of Feb 1st we submitted a rent check minus the cleaning crew cost of $200 plus we politely asked for removal of 1 month not 12 months - 1 month, of dryer rental and we received this a message on our door with our returned check. So I guess their answer is "NO" - What a shock! American residential group and The Tribune lofts have turned out to be "SLUMLORDS" and a guess have been for years. Since this is has all happened, I have heard some many stories about the conditions here over the last ten years, that they knew about and did not act on. It's almost a bad joke that everyone else knew how bad and crappy these apartments were but we didn't? If we had vetted them the way they vet their tenant applications, we might have scene this coming. Before we moved in we heard about some complaints, but we had no idea about the condition of the building! It started with just a couple of problems here and there, like cold winters and high heating bills because we had to keep the thermostat so high because of the No Insulation on the windows. And also the fact that it's extremely hard to close the windows all the way, they don't really latch? But don't take my word for it; ask any of the tenants at the Tribune. Once again, most of us overlook this fact because we love the space. Becky who is in charge of the properties admitted that there was a problem with the windows because it's a historic building and they can't replace the windows? Really? The proper or honest response would have been we didn't want to spend the money to fix, replace or properly seal the windows. Around the beginning of last summer the ceiling leak started in our second bedroom, which is my office, and in the hallway outside our apartment and in front of the elevator. The leak in my office was coming from the old building façade and was hard to fix. Finally in September, they said my office ceiling was fixed permanently! Yet the one in the hallway outside our apartment still constantly leaks. Now the BIG PROBLEM, over Christmas there was a major rainstorm, for 3 or 4 days. We had nine new leaks pop up from one side of the apartment to the other! We had to take stuff off the walls and push all the furniture into dry areas. We were under plastic for about a week. The maintenance department is weak at best but over the holidays it was non-existent, except one guy who seemed powerless to help? The funny and sad thing is that the office leak came back last, in a new location this time! The roof is really damaged and we get lots of lip service and BS from the management, like "we never got that complaint" or "We never heard that before". They pass the buck like professionals - lots of he said, she said stuff. They need to replace our section of the roof or this will keep happening all the time and with new leaks popping up all the time. All of our neighbors had leaks as well as all the people below us. Once I started to talk to other tenants I realized how bad the condition of the building really is, I opened Pandora's box. My experience has been quite the opposite of the other two that have been posted up to this point. The management (Rachel and Amanda) have been extraordinarily helpful whenever we've had questions or needed help with the apartment. When something needs to be fixed (which isn't often) it always gets fixed in a timely manner (Thanks should also go to Sean). And they actually provide free light bulbs after they fizzle out. In fact, when they found out that I didn't know about this policy (and therefore didn't take advantage of it), they left a free bottle of champagne outside our door the night before New Year's Eve. They're just that thoughtful! They also provide free breakfast every Saturday, rotating between breakfast burritos, doughnuts, fresh fruit, and plenty of other options. They really put a lot of care into the Tribune and Metro, as evidenced by their recent investment in really nice art that can now be found on all the floors of Tribune.
