The way it looked I expected the Lord of the Dance to come tapping out the door. But I could vaguely make out a couple of future "colleens", in pretty black and orange dresses, bouncing up and down. Non stop. They have varied hours at this location, evenings too, and not only is the school "parent friendly" but my niece loves her teacher. She also can't seem to get enough of Irish dancing ... also a credit to her teacher. At this stage in her dancing career, the cost is based on dancing in a group for a number of lessons. My daughter started dancing competitively, and after a horrible experience in Palos Heights, we came here because it was more local to us. My daughter has grown as a dancer in such a short time. She's learning technique, something that was missing from the other place. Everyone is on task and there's little horseplay in the classes. The instructors actually participate and demonstrate what is being taught. My daughter is always excited to go to class. Ms Marylee runs a great business and she cares about her dancers. She puts out a great product. Highly recommended! I'm proud to have my daughter go there.

Marylee Sinopoli…read more Extremely dedicated to her students progress and brings in all styles of dance: Tap Ballet/Pointe Jazz Modern Hip Hop Music Dance Theatre Lyrical Ballroom Creative Movement Yoga (Yep, even yoga) And the list goes on, I've probably forgotten several other classes that are taught as well. There are two separate dance floors, so two classes can run at the same time with no interference. My Sister-in-law teaches tap here along with both my nieces that are dancing students and they love it! I got to peek in on one or two of their classes and it's amazing to see how much they've progressed. Along with all the wonderful dancing that goes on here there is also amazing art work displayed, all of it is completed by the owners mother. Great feel of unity here at the studio, which can be difficult to come by these days in most studios. Truly a positive place to come and learn to dance, at all ages. The owner, you can tell, has put great work, care and time into creating a huge success here at the Dance Gallery.

I reach out multiple times to the office of SCB only to not be answered. When they finally decide to respond, it's to tell me they're busy on spring break, didn't I read the email updates they send to everyone and that we weren't getting any of our money back. Mind you, our daughter got hurt at the beginning of spring session (so we paid for an entire session) and is on crutches, barely being able to walk. Disappointing doesn't even begin to cover how this place has turned out. I had hesitations from the beginning about signing up here and unfortunately was right. There aren't a lot of dance places so they have that as an advantage but this distress is not worth it. $12k a year to dance ballet?! STOP

Tutu school is open in Glenview! We have been here couple of times. Once was for a preview class…read morebefore their official opening, which was mixed ages, since it wasn't an official class and was just kind of giving a sample of what some of the classes look like. A couple days ago we went for our first official class, Tutu Toddlers. I think my newly-minted two year old really had a lot of fun. She was shy at first--for like three minutes--then got a lot more involved. She's still learning to listen to instructions so she and some of the other kids on the young end of 2 were kinda doing their own thing for some of the time, but she followed along for more than I expected. They use several props in the class for fun and to help small children with movement and expression. My daughter wasn't super fond of giving up the props each time but thankfully the curriculum is well designed to keep them active and moving to the next segment of class and it was quite quickly forgotten. They played with wands, ribbons, and marched with teddy bears. There was story time, with dance interspersed that aligned with the story. There were bubbles, which is a favorite of about every child this age that I know, and even a time for coloring at the end. The space is beautiful. For this age range the parents are expected to be on the dance floor with their children, but for older ages that are more independent there's a lot of seating for parents to hang out. I'm excited we joined Tutu School. They have a couple of the Tutu Toddler classes and may continue adding more options as they grow. The staff we've met, as well as the owner, have been very friendly. I've had two classes of the 4 intro to pole series. I LOVE IT!!! I knew it would be different and a…read moreworkout but I'm in love and so excited to come back. The studio is so cool. Mood lighting, great stereo, you name it. My instructor is Kelly, she is amazing, especially for those with no experience. I also love how they have you sign a form to promise to love yourself and others and not to bring the negative energy in! Due to the snow/blizzard a class was cancelled and they immediately reached out to schedule us with a new class. Also, the instructor Kelly hand wrote a card about thanking us for joining and beginning this journey. I am super excited to continue. From the moment you walk in, you sanitize, remove your shoes and check in. On the first class we were 15 minutes early and they asked us to wait in the car because they want to limit people at the door, which is nice. Masks are required. Also, they sell out quick when it comes to registering! Another good sign to me. I've learned a lot in two classes and I'm so excited. This place is amazing. I want to schedule a birthday/party here too, they look so fun!!! This business is the stuff !!!

Hosted my best friends bachlorette party here and had a blast! We did the BOMBSHELL PARTY package…read more We were able to bring snacks and drinks and the representative set it all up for us. We all signed the waiver basically stating we won't sue if we're injured. The representative had us do a champagne toast for the bride-to-be before we began the class. Afterwards, the class began. We learned a sexy lap dance routine then a pole dance routine. It was extremely fun. Then they had the guest of honor do a special routine while we throw money at her. Now that was exciting!!!! The guest of honor also got a gift bag and we all got a free class card that must be used in 30 days. The party was definitively worth it! I would definitely love to do this again.
