I waited for a little over 2 hours in total, Dr. K spent less than 5 minutes with me. The receptionist and nurse were very sweet, but other staff members...not so much. More on that later. I was taken to get an x-ray of my knee, the technician didn't seem to enjoy his job. He wasn't rude, but wasn't very engaging or happy to be there. Maybe he was having a bad day, we've all been there. Dr. K came in and spent less than 5 minutes with me. He touched my knee once, no tests of any sort, did not ask where my pain was. I told him right away that I was looking to do a scope on my knee, as I've had it done before for the same issue on my other knee. He told me "look, I'll do whatever you want. You want pills? Therapy? Surgery? I'll do it." When I asked him for more info on where the surgery will take place, he just said "a hospital". Okay...how far is this hospital, can I get a name, more details? I was really hoping for more interaction with him, he seemed very rushed and possibly tired. He kept rubbing his eyes and only made eye contact with me twice. I went to another ortho and was much happier with him and his staff, when I called to cancel my follow up with Dr. K, I was questioned why I'm cancelling. Not wanting to be mean I said my schedule was packed and I'll call some other time to reschedule. She didn't like that answer, kept pressing me to reschedule with her at that moment. I finally told her I found an ortho closer to my house and that fit my schedule. She started accusing me of wasting Dr. K's time if I wasn't going to come back. I got the impression that most of the staff in the office were overworked, stressed, and exhausted. We all have those days, but I wish my interaction with Dr. K would have been a more pleasant one. read more

Dr. Kjeldgaard was the worst doctor I've ever been to. I gave two stars instead of one simply because the other staff at this location were very kind and caring toward me. Only the doctor seemed to not care at all. If you value your money and want to be treated by a doctor who cares, please, go elsewhere. Background: I've had hip and lower back pain for 3 years now. I've seen several doctors but gotten only minimal and temporary relief. I waited for two hours past my appointment time before seeing the doctor. This was mildly annoying, but I understand we are in the midst of a pandemic, and it's slowing down the process, so I figured it wasn't a big deal. However, when the doctor finally came in, I instantly noticed his bad attitude. He never once looked me in the eye, he was abrupt, rude, and extremely dismissive. He gave me an exam that lasted all of about 2 minutes and then talked to me for about 5 minutes. This just made me wonder, why did I wait so long if this is the amount of time he spends with each patient? As I tried to tell him about my situation he kept cutting me off mid-sentence. I told him stretching helps my pain, so I stretch every single day, even though when my hip is hurting it's very painful to stretch. He said it didn't make sense to him that the stretches could be both painful and helpful... I found his confusion very odd. I saw my general practitioner, a physical therapist, and a chiropractor, before going here, and they all agreed that stretching might hurt a little, but it could help reduce my pain throughout the day. Every google search I've done has turned up multiple articles suggesting daily stretching to reduce my pain. It's pretty basic. He reminded me of my young age, over and over again, as if I didn't already know I'm too young to be experiencing pain like this. Age bias is a real problem, and youth does not necessarily equate to good health. He actually rolled his eyes when he saw that I occasionally take sleeping medication. I'm guessing from this he thought I was chasing meds.... which is actually laughable. If he had bothered to listen to me, he'd know I don't even take OTC meds for the pain, and I have no interest in starting. On top of that, if I WERE wanting meds, I would have asked my GP, and not paid a bunch of money to get scans done and see specialists. Finally, he asked me if I wanted a referral to get an MRI, since he didn't see anything indicated on my x-ray. He then proceeded to tell me he doesn't think they will find anything on an MRI. So..... does he recommend the MRI or not?? I have no idea what the nuances between an X-ray and an MRI actually are, so how am I supposed to tell him whether or not I need both? A note to doctor Kjeldgaard: What you say, and how you say it, changes people's lives. I might not have been so easily dismissed, but a lot of people would have walked out of that visit feeling hopeless. If a specialist, like yourself, doesn't see the problem and is dismissive, it makes a solution seem impossible. In a world where medical care is exorbitantly expensive, and the number one reason people file for bankruptcy is medical debt, patients aren't coming to see you because they want to, but because they NEED help. read more

I went to the Trinity Orthopedic on Harwood for a Ganglion cyst on my finger. After filling out gobs of paperwork like I was going to surgery I finally get called back. I have to get X-rays which is standard. The doctor comes in afterwards and says everything looks good with my X-rays but he recommends that I have an MRI to look closer into the cyst. By this time I am upset! Why did I do the freakin X-ray then? I expressed my disappointment with the doctor and he stated he thought this would allow him to see clearly what this cyst was attached to. I am so disgusted!!! The total cost for this charade was 130.00 and the damn cyst has still not been drained!!! read more

I am disgusted! I called this place today and told the lady on the phone that i had previously gone to another place for physical therapy on my foot and that i have bcbs. She put me on hold for about 10 seconds and came back and said i would be out of network! I called back and she told me that same thing after i told her that it shows in-network on my end! She had to be lazy because you can not tell me that it's out of network when it simply tells me otherwise! All the other 10 places i called, told me it's in-network AFTER i gave them my insurance information! read more

I want to say thank you Dr. Lauren Sloan for coming in on your off day to to look at my ankle. To start off I called 02-18-16 and asked if there was any way possible to reschedule my appointment to a earlier day. Who ever I had spoke with said yes come in Friday 02-26-16 at 7:30 and we will get you in. I shop up and the nurse said nobody had called them to reschedule my appointment and no Dr. Was available to look at me. The nurse then said let me call Dr. Lauren Sloan and see if she will come in. The nurse came back out and said she is on her way we will get you taking care of. So again thank you for going the extra mile and making a customer happy. I'm giving Trinity Ortho a "1" because I cannot give the a "0". I broke my wrist on Memorial Day and made an appointment with them. Dark and smelly office and during the appointment they came in barely looked at my wrist and sent me to another room to have a "waterproof" cast put on. I was not given any care instructions and basically was wrapped up and sent on my way. Never having broken a bone before I really wasn't sure what I needed to do. I called them back when I got home and had to ask them how to take care of the cast. When I went back in for next appt again looked at it but didn't X-ray or anything to make sure it was healing properly. At that time I was told I could start rehab and I did. Around August I received a small bill that was what insurance didn't pay. I immediately called their office and paid the outstanding balance. Fast forward to mid December and I get a bill from a collection agency telling me I owe Trinity Ortho $76 (and change). Now this is the first time that I even knew I had any other balance with them. I immediately called Trinity's office and was sent to their billing department. I spoke to Steven who in fact did confirm that they never sent me a paper bill, text or email but claims they tried calling my cell phone - not sure about you but if I don't recognize a number I don't answer. I told him that I was concerned that this was turned over to a collection agency without written notification and had no issue paying but wanted to be assured that it would not show as late on my credit report. Steven said that would not be an issue and i paid it over the phone. Fast forward again to February and guess what I have a 30 day late notification on my credit report. I call their office as soon as i see this and talked to a very rude woman. Once I explained that I had talked to Steven in Dec she said she would have him call me back - HE NEVER DID. Point of this review is their office is sub par, they do not have a good accounting system or customer service and have done nothing to resolve my issue. Find another orthopedic as this one stinks. read more

From the beginning I was treated like family. I traveled from out of town and was able to get an appointment with no problems. When I showed up for my appointment I was treated just fine. I was seen by Dr Iagulli, he has a great bedside manner. My problem was quickly diagnosed and treated. I have been pain free for almost a month now. My local Doctor was not able to help me so I'm glad I knew about Dr. Iagulli. Dr Kjeldgaard had preformed surgery on me successfully several years ago. That's why I chose to return to Trinity for help and I'm glad I did. read more

I had a poor experience here regarding the treatment of my chondromalacia, and the doctor I saw (Dr. Iagulli) has the worst bedside manner I'd ever seen, and got very defensive when I honestly told him his treatment wasn't helping. My pain is worse than ever and the only "help" I've gotten was the office setting me up with someone else for a second opinion with a different doctor. Otherwise the facility is neat and clean, and the other staff members are kind and friendly, albeit a bit disorganized at times, it can be difficult to get a hold of someone, it's best to call during low volume hours to get anything done promptly. Overall it wasn't a terribly positive experience and I'm left with my issues unresolved and a doctor who doesn't seem to care. I'd recommend going elsewhere, or making sure your appointment is with another doctor. read more

Mid December, 2018, I was referred to the Hurst location due to a fractured ankle. Upon trying to check in, the receptionist was checking someone out at the other end of the counter, and when she finished with that customer, she picked up her crotchet project and proceeded to crotchet even though my grown son said loudly "is this where we check in?" She never even looked at us. The person that came into the lobby changing out the coffee pot said she would help us. The x-ray technician is the only one who smiled and was nice to me. Dr. Iagulli was so fast to talk surgery, end of year rush, lucky to get an operating room, etc... he didn't even listen to me about not wanting surgery. After I declined surgery, I never heard from the office again. Three weeks later I made my own follow up appointment with the Keller location. The PA saw me, not the doctor, and she again suggested surgery. There was a major disagreement with the receptionist upon check out, she just didn't comprehend what I was saying; wanting to charge me $350 for the visit when my insurance co-pay is $50. I refused to pay anything over $50. She said that's what they charge for the Surgery/Fracture visit. I said "THERE IS NO SURGERY". She talked to her manager and came back and said "just be aware the next time you come here expect to pay more". she also said that I should have been charged extra for the in-office x-rays (no, my insurance covers that, I never pay for that). Needless to say, I sought a second opinion with Baylor Scott & White Orthopedic center, and was told that I made the correct decision not to have surgery due to my extensive RA damage in my foot already. read more

Overall a really unpleasant visit. 1) I found Dr. Ryan Modlinski (and researched him) on my insurance page. I called and they neglected to tell me that he does not even work at the office anymore. They booked me an appointment and I incorrectly assumed it was with the guy I had requested! 2) The entire (ENTIRE) office is covered with crosses, bibles, and bible-passage wall art. I feel like it is very strange and they almost need to give a Christian disclaimer over the phone. They had a mini bible nestled in-between models of the spine in the exam room! It was just too much, and if you were someone of another faith and went there without knowing ... 3) The first nurse/tech never looked me in the eyes and was so rude. She said only a few words to me, told me the doctor would only look at two body parts, and said we need x-rays before anything else. 4) As stated in other posts, Dr. Iagullli seriously has terrible bedside manner. He never smiled. I was there for 2 hours total and he only saw me for 3 minutes! He asked me a question and then as I was trying to answer he cut me off! He then told me that I did not have a condition (Osgood-Schlatter's Disease) that I have been told I have for my whole life. I said oh, other doctors have told me this and I have read studies that show a small percentage have it into adulthood and he so coldly said " YOU DO NOT HAVE IT. It is NOT a thing after the growth plates close" I was actually tearing up from talking about the increase in pain and he just said "you need an MRI" and left. 5) I left feeling very strange and was like wow he didn't even give the generic "rest, ibuprofen" advice. Three days later I get an email to join a patient portal and I notice a prescription in my file. Dr. Iagulli DID NOT mention that he was giving me a prescription and neither did the nurse or the checkout desk!! What kind of office does not mention that they are giving a brand-new patient a prescription? read more

I had the rudest service at my initial visit. The only one that was remotely courteous was the actual physician. I was referred to physical therapy for a partially torn tendon and was not able to attend at their location as their hours are not conducive to anyone with a normal 8-5 job. When I was finally able to get in with an after hours pt facility, it had been almost two months since my visit. I called to get my pt order sent to the facility and never heard a word back from Trinity. I called several times and never got a return call. I ended up having to cancel my PT appointment because I could never get the order sent over. Now another month has passed before I can get in again (because of my work/school/kids schedule) and I call to have the order sent ONCE again. I never hear anything back so I call the day of. Of course it had been addressed in their system but they failed to call me back. Now they refuse to send the order over because of the time that has passed. Same injury, same pain, and a huge delay because their lack of professionalism. I am now walking around in pain, with a partially torn tendon, with my treatment being delayed yet again because of this place. Their management couldn't even answer as to why I was never contacted a month ago after repeated phone calls and messages. I will NEVER return to this practice and I will tell everyone I know how awful their customer service is. I will be following up with their closest competitor. read more

I have been taking my dad to the 4444 Heritage Trace Ste 408, Keller/ Fort Worth Tx location to see Dr Iagulli. His staff is rude and useless. They never send his prescriptions and I have to call them multiple times for them to do it, also the nurse, which is the rudest of them all, NEVER sends his referrals for physical therapy, I had to call them 12 times, yes I counted! for her to finally do it and when we saw the PA she asked why it took us almost 2 months to go to therapy, I told her, and after she left the nurse came back raising her voice at me telling me how everything I said was a lie, when she knows perfectly fine she doesn't do anything there but walk around. Now, I have to call tomorrow AGAIN about a prescription that they never sent, and I've been calling for 4 days. The only reason why we're still going there is because it is workcomp and we don't have a choice but the service is beyond abysmal. Save your time and don't go there. read more
