If it wasn't for all the Filipinos inside the mall, it'd remind me of the malls in California. It's a pretty mall with fountains outside and architecture that makes you ooh and ahh inside your head. It gets crowded due to being one of the nicer, fancier malls. Like amusement park crowded. Grab a buddy and you'll be fine. They seem to have everything here too. Even a chapel that has masses. No joke. I was walking through the mall when I saw crowds of people standing. For mass. The masses get so much traffic that people have to stand outside the chapel. People don't stare at you here like at most other public places. I would think it's because most of the people here are middle and upper middle classes and a lot of tourists probably come here so it's nothing new to them. I liked this mall. read more

This place is always packed and parking is horrible . They have a speed ramp for exiting vehicles but sometimes not all exiting booths are open so you have to drive down to one that is which creates unnecessary traffic to get out of the parking... I don't get it... I also don't understand why they don't open all mall entrances from parking on the weekdays... I get it's not as busy... but it's really inconvenient when we park in the higher levels... If I didn't need to get a certain grocery item here - I'd avoid this mall all together - but it's the only place that sells grass fed bones and grocery shopping here on the weekends is horrible....... it's best to go when the store opens early in the morning on weekends... and sometimes weekdays too... but if you come at lunch time... good luck finding parking. read more

Another HUGE mall in the capital of Manila. So many stores & places to eat at. This mall is so nice, it doesn't feel like you're in the Philippines. Very upgraded & modern compared to other malls. You can find low to high end stores here. You can find anything actually. Parking is crazy, I'd definitely would recommend Valet. read more

TriNoma, I realized, was designed like a video game level. There's a clear center - in other Ayala Malls, it's called the Activity Center, I'm just not sure if the same is true with TriNoma - and there are corridors leading away from it that you'd have to explore. It's tough, and there's a lot of backtracking involved, but at the end, like all videogames, the sense of satisfaction is overwhelming. TriNoma is one of my favorite malls because well, it's not SM, and it has everything you need, right up to the al fresco garden up top, which is something you don't usually find in the middle of a mall. It also has a great cinema, with reclining chairs. read more

The Ayala mall of the North as I would call it. It is one of the best malls I've been to because of its wide range of shops and restaurants, but it's too far away from home :( Plus points for: MRT station nearby (especially for commuters), a department store (Landmark!), spacious cinemas, flat rate during weekdays (awesome deal) Minus points: hourly parking rates and area can get crowded during weekends It's becoming one of my usual malls because it's near my school and it has my usual Ayala mall favorites (Timezone, Taters) and they also have Bigoli restaurant so I have an alternative to the Eastwood branch. I would definitely visit Trinoma again, but most likely during weekdays when there are fewer people around. It's a great place for a movie date night! ;) read more

When the tiny old mall that use to be SM North EDSA, began expanding like crazy with The Block and Annex, Ayala Malls had to have an answer in this part of the Metro. That's when Trinoma came to be. This is really one of the nicer malls in Quezon City. It's really accessible with a direct connection to the North Ave MRT station. There's also an access way to SM North if you plan on switching malls. Like most Ayala Malls, Trinoma has a lot of high-end stores and a very nice selection of restaurants. You have your buffets, food court, food kiosks, fast food and restaurants in the mid- to high-end price range. I love that the only other branch of The Landmark is here, which has an exciting array of department store products similar to those found in Makati. The grocery section, also run by Landmark, has local and imported goods at a very decent price point. The only downside to Trinoma is that there seems to be something awfully wrong with the way the mall's acoustics are designed. If there are loud events in the Activity Center, it can really be distracting since the sound bounces off everything. Thankfully, the events being held here have been more of the quiet ones lately. I love that they have that open space near the cinema that feels like a garden. Really a great place for kids to run and enjoy when the sun is out. read more

Triangle North of Manila. That overhead Google map really hammers in where Trinoma gets its name, doesn't it? Given the fact it's an Ayala mall, you can say we've been given a little slice of Greenbelt of our own in QC. In terms of space, it's definitely not bigger than SM City. Come to think of it, it's probably not even half of SM North... but it has a different sort of feel to it. It's got that classier Ayala mall vibe to it; from the floor tiles to the interiors to the kinds of shops, there's just something that makes it feel on a higher end than SM North. As far as malls go, it's pretty complete for its size. You have a good number of stores that cater to differing needs, a pretty well stocked grocery (Rustan's. So it's a little pricey but eh, what did you expect?), Landmark as a department store as well as a cinema and bunches of restaurants. I suppose, yes... it's already been said but it bears repeating if only because it's the perfect way to put it. If you really have to go to a mall and are tired of SM North, Trinoma's a good place to go. read more

There could only be one entity that could challenge an SM Mall right on its decades-long stronghold of a territory, and that is an Ayala Mall. Trinoma, which means Triangle North of Manila, has a sprawling land area housing restaurants, boutiques, lifestyle and beauty centers, and everything in between. I was also told that this is the Ayala companies' way of "reaching out to the masses." OK. PROS: It has a comparatively better selection on its department- and grocery-store brand, Landmark. It's cheaper and with better quality; Their store selections are almost identical to the other malls, but I somehow like the fact that this place has more and bigger bookstores. CONS: Why is it so hot in a lot of spots? Are there air conditioner problems? This seems to be going on for a while now. Or is it because there's a lot of people?; Speaking of crowds, it's way more crowded here than in its neighbor. Cinema queues can be absurd, especially when blockbusters are premiering; Even if I mention that Trinoma may be classier than a previously-reviewed mall, it still stands that these huge malls pretty much breed this culture of consumerism that's very exploitative of the Manila individual. I want to elaborate but this isn't a place for a lecture on being bourgeoisie. TL;DR: A good alternative for the Northern Manila person if he or she reached his or her SM Mall satiety point. read more

Careful, it's easy to get lost in TriNoma, especially if it's your first visit. You'll be overwhelmed by the amount of people, the loud music from whatever event that's happening at the atrium, and the number of shops that range from high quality, to - for lack of a better term - sketchy. Strangely, as you go up floors, the better the establishments. TriNoma pretty much has everything I think. Bookstores, fastfood, hotpot, arcades, high end clothing shops, cafés, a cinema house, and concert grounds. I guess that's why there's usually an influx of people especially in the afternoon. It's still a pretty decent place to visit if you're not so claustrophobic or agoraphobic. If there's something you need and want, TriNoma is sure to have it. read more

I can never seem to find my way out of Trinoma. Getting there is easy. You either take the MRT to its very end, which connects directly to Trinoma, or you stick to the roads by taking a bus or a cab. But getting out of Trinoma and back home is the tricky part. I can never seem to find the exit where you can take PUVs or cabs, I keep ending up in some back alley or dark parking lot and I'd have to walk to EDSA or cross to SM North just to get home. And the confusion doesn't stop there either. Inside, it's a veritable maze. The corners don't make sense, and the corridors that radiate away from the main activity center seem to change every time I visit. It's like Hogwarts, with its moving staircases. Still though, it's a great mall. The stores are nice - with places that other malls don't have. The al fresco park up top, near the cinemas, is a great place to hang out. And the cinemas! Better than SM, of course, with reclining seats and space between you and the person next to you. read more

Trinoma may have a lot of looping, criss-crossing corridors within, but the fact that it's designed with a clear center (something I love about Ayala Malls!) makes finding your way around a little less confusing. I have yet to memorize the location of all the mini stores in the middle of the hallways, especially because there are so many, but I'll get it right soon. I honestly like Trinoma a lot more than SM North simply because it's prettier! The gardens are nicer, and there are a lot more shops here that are my taste. I'm a fan of the laidback sophistication of Ayala, okay. Special mention for Pop Culture, a sort of tiangge with lots of little stalls that sell trendy clothes and accessories. The one here is so much bigger than the version in ATC, and therefore I like it more. If you don't want to go around all the stand-alone stores of gorgeous shoes and clothes, the Landmark department store is there to make shopping more convenient. Ladies, you can also rely on Trinoma for beauty needs: they've got PCX, Make Up For Ever, and Clinique. As for food, there are both fast food places like TACO BELL (!!!!), traditional sit-down restaurants offering all sorts of cuisines, cafes, dessert places, and my favorite milktea place ever Happy Lemon. Definitely a wide range of eating options here. Only problem with Trinoma is that it's a bit of walk to get to the jeep terminal at SM if I need to go back to Katip. Down the stairs outside the mall, up the overpass, then down from the Skygarden...it's a sweaty walk. But I just try to think of it as extra exercise, because Trinoma is too good to ignore just because I need to walk a little farther than usual. read more

Once you hit the last station of the Metro Rail Transit after coming from the direction fo Taft, you'll be certain to make your way to Trinoma, a massive shopping mall and events place with a huge center that simply bustles with life. You will find people either going straight to the food court (on level with the station you just got off) or trying to make their way to the different stores in the leviathan area, which can be a bit intimidating but offers such a satisfyingly wide selection that once cannot help but be dazzled by the charm of the place. Quite fittingly, this is the place I imagine people would go after taking the train back and beating the terrible rush hour of a hard day's work to kick back, relax, and maybe spend a bit of their hard-earned salaries to treat themselves, which is okay from time to time. read more

Trinoma is SO FAR from where I live! Trinoma mall is practically on the other side of the country, as far as I'm concerned. Although I have visited the mall a fair few times to see friends from the North or to see my family from my dad's side since they all live in Q.C. The thing about Trinoma is that it's just so huge and disorganized, stepping inside is kind of like stepping into a labyrinth. There has never been a time I've visited Trinoma where I haven't had to ask a guard for directions. It's just this huge hunk of unadulterated MALL that I can't seem to figure out. It's nice though and has practically every store known to man housed inside, PLUS there's a Landmark in there, which is always a plus. I like how you can get to the mall directly via the MRT station - it makes traveling back home that much easier. It's a pretty cool mall, but not one that I'd visit unless I had a good reason too, like meeting up with a friend who lived in Q.C. or something. I'm quite happy with my regular mall staples aka Greenbelt/Glorietta/High Street. Although I'd probably think better of Trinoma if I could just figure out how the hell you northerners navigate through it! read more

Trinoma is one of the malls located at the North of Edsa. And just like its neighbor, the giant SM North Edsa, it's quite big as well. However, Trinoma beats SM North Edsa when it comes to the stores offered inside. Having shops like Topman, Topshop, Zara, Nine West, Gap, and many more, it's quite clear that fashionista customers will more likely prefer Trinoma over its rival SM North Edsa. Another great thing in Trinoma is its interior. It's a wide space, making your walks inside the mall very comfortable and less suffocating. The top floor is another cool area too as the outside of it features a garden with a lot of plants, and a number of notable restaurants. My only complaint about this mall is exactly the same as its neighboring rival SM North Edsa, is that the mall is jam-packed with way too many people. Having way too many people inside a mall makes the experience less special. Well, for me at least. Trinoma may just be one of the prettier malls out there, and it really shows, seeing as to how many people go there everyday. However, it seems that people love it too much that the experience becomes pretty hard to enjoy. Nonetheless, it's still a pretty good mall based on what it can offer. read more
