It's right across his office and a few blocks away from mine so we end up going to this shop once in a while. What I noticed about Sneak Peek is that they carry a pretty wide variety of shoe brands. They have the usual suspects like Nike, Adidas, New Balance and Supra but they also carry edgier brands like Tretorn, G-Star Raw, Mr. Lacy and Brixton. I can see why because they certainly have great stuff but it's personally not my style so I buy other and cheap workout gear that won't burn holes in my wallet and pockets. An outlet store won't so every time there's a birthday or it's Christmas, I always visit this branch. Sports Central is nothing special in terms of what it offers. It offers basically the same brands compared to other sporting goods stores that have multiple brands. What I like about it though is the feel. It feels upscale and even has interactive touchscreen computers to give out info. on their products. It's a fun place to shop is my point.

I just love how Nike showcases all their shoes on the wall. It makes it so easy to have a look at the shoes you like and this makes for a great shopping experience. The staff lets you browse around without bothering you, but are there to help you if you want to try on some shoes. Just a great experience, so go and visit, just do it!

Their shoes are of incredibly high quality and last years with proper use. Or a mere drizzle from the skies will leave me with wet socks because of a hole or two in my shoes. Looking for replacement shoes is a very exhausting task for me. I have larger than normal feet so I usually have to go to several shoe stores scattered in different malls looking for one that will fit me. Never mind the style, I'll take it as long as my toes are not suffocated by really tight shoes. Most of the time, they have the size I am looking for but it still won't fit because my feet are too wide. Thankfully, Payless came to the rescue. The have a wide variety of shoes and they have wide ones and even half size ones. They saved me a lot of time whenever I need a new pair. The designs are also trendy. And they always have items on sale. Before Payless, I had to turn to European brands since they are the ones most likely to have the size that will fit me. And their prices are really really high for me. Payless really made my wallet smile because I can get a good looking pair that fits perfectly for only a fraction of the price I used to pay for.

They have other items apart from shoes here - like bags, wallets, and small accessories like bracelets, socks, sunglasses and the sort. But the styles aren't that great. If you're looking for cheap and fast fashion, I prefer a place like Forever 21 or H&M.

Seeing Market Market now shows how the Philippines has become more modern. It's a lively place where families can gather for special occasions, with various stands offering good prices, though I remember thinking the prices were quite reasonable. Interestingly, when you travel to the provinces or countryside, souvenirs and treats can be cheaper than here. Market Market has a nostalgic vibe, blending modern shopping with Filipino charm. It's known for its diverse range of stores and products like clothing, cellular phone sales, repairs and accessories, jewelry store, toys, pearls, souvenir items, restaurants, bars, video arcades, religious facilities and the ever popular tiangge that sells imported and local products for bargain hunters. A lot has changed but it is still one of the most beloved malls in the country.

Restaurant row was more inviting with more sit down choices and better design. Security upon entrance was still the same. Large bags were inspected upon entry. The tiangge section (Shoppsville side) was untouched with rows and rows of stalls selling pearls, clothing, suitcases, shoes and more. Everything here can be haggled over. I was on the search for some local food items but the stall I sought out was closed for some reason. The chapel in the mall was still something unique to see but quite convenient to attend mass. The indoor garden across the way was updated and more inviting than I remember with more seating. Parking here has always been and will likely still be a challenge. Security guards still direct traffic but drop off areas by the mall entrances do get backed up frequently. Definitely enjoyed the shopping experience more than before.
