My work has been featured in Edify — Edmonton's leading city and business lifestyle magazine — and I was named one of Edmonton's Top 40 Under 40 in Avenue Magazine (now Edify) in 2017, and voted Edmonton's Best Photographer in the 2018 Vue Weekly 'Best of Edmonton Awards.' In 2025, I was nominated for an Alberta Magazine Award in the Photograph — People and Portraiture category.
I trained under Peter Hurley, widely regarded as the industry's leading headshot photographer, working my way up to Associate and then Mentor within his Headshot Crew program — mentoring other photographers, speaking at his HeadshotMania convention twice, before stepping back to focus on my own studio. I understand the difference between a headshot, a portrait, and a beauty shot, and I build every session around what the client actually needs it for.
I also bring a background in film and television performance, which gives me an edge in directing expression and putting people at ease in front of the camera — especially useful for executives and professionals who aren't used to being photographed. Beyond headshots, I'm a regular contributor to Leap magazine and have been featured in PhotoED — Canada's leading editorial photography publication — for my own self-portrait work.
