If you need a quieter and more private experience, you'll want to specifically mention that when checking out other PT facilities. I have had physical therapy before and I have never had a therapist/technician working with two clients at one time. That may be the norm now, but it certainly wasn't in the past and that is the experience you will have at this facility. The intake room was private and quiet, but the physical therapy that goes on in the main part of the facility is open to everyone and rather small. I wouldn't have a problem with that if the staff were attentive to their clients rather than socializing with each other, but that was not the case. The targeted exercises, availability at this facility, and the Limber app were all great. Unfortunately, the overall experience was too loud and distracting for me to consider using them long-term.

I've been treated at various PT practices over the years, and Advanced Physical Therapy is the best. It's small, comfortable, and well-staffed. I previously complimented the staff at Beaumont Physical Therapy, Warren before we knew that the…read moredamage in my shoulder was way more involved than just a rotator cuff tear. Assuming that it was just rotator cuff (pre-MRI), their staff was great and I regained most of my range of motion. When it didn`t continue to improve, an MRI was ordered and I had a fairly major surgery, disconnecting the biceps tendon and repairing the rotator cuff. Though my surgeon worked out of Henry Ford, I chose to return to Beaumont PT and they did not disappoint; in fact, I couldn`t be happier with the results! Recovery was projected to be six months. I started PT approximately a month post-op, and two months of PT later, I have regained FULL range of motion. I can do MANY things that I was unable to before the surgery! I still have home work on a daily basis, and there`s some (slight but expected) discomfort at times, but I never thought that I`d have healed this much, this soon. My surgeon was also very impressed with the progress I made, thanks for my care at Beaumont Physical Therapy. A heartfelt thanks to Gillian and Sean who provided my care. They are not only great therapists; they are genuinely concerned with the patient`s well being. As an added bonus, they are both wonderful people, who make the process fun! I didn`t look forward to PT, but I always looked forward to seeing them. Kudos to them, Stephanie who assisted, and the rest of the Beaumont PT staff. You rock!!

The exercise professional, Jimmy, was also professional and kind (even when I asked the same things over and over). I have to also give a compliment to Olive who was both kind and caring. When I first came to HQ, I had to use a walker. After 6 weeks, I am walking on my own without pain and am able to go up and down steps for the first time in a very long time.
