He liked coming here but after yesterday he also said never again. I'm usually a pretty calm person in general but yesterday I was not after coming here. Unfortunately, this place seemed understaffed when I brought my son and grandmother. There was two females working. It was an older lady and a young lady. My son got the older lady. There was three to four people ahead of us. The employees usually have the cut my son gets on file in their system...a size two clipper on the bottom with scissors on the top. The lady said the system said it was a two all around when she finished with my son. I told her that was incorrect. We NEVER get that short of a cut. She didn't apologize or seem to care when I told her. She was really insensitive when I told her she messed up in a nice way. I assumed she was doing the two on the bottom with scissors so I didn't say anything or really check. That was bad on my part. My son left crying because this lady completely butchered his hair. He asked me if he could wear a cap to school and I said no it isn't allowed. You never wear a cap indoors. I was almost going to argue my way out of paying but my grandma was getting impatient and paid anyway. She was also going to get a haircut but decided against it after my son's haircut. I will never EVER return! They just lost a loyal customer and $14 bucks went down the drain. My son still gave her a few dollars for a tip. I told him not to leave anything but he still did. My wife was devastated because this salon improperly bleached her hair then dyed to cover up the…read moremistake. She only went to have the roots touched up and the woman left it in her hair for 30 minutes. This fried her roots and improperly stripped the color from the hair. There was also patches of the original color left in the layers of her hair. After this, we had to cancel family Christmas photos that evening and I had to watch her cry over and over about this salon messing up her hair. I told her to speak to the manager and she called them the very next morning. The woman on the phone agreed that the bleach on the roots was in too long and offered a refund on services rendered. My wife showed up to this salon and spoke to the same woman on the phone which was the manager. The manager agreed that the roots were fried and called the salon artist to look at the mistakes. This salon artist went into an instant Latin b**ch mode and started calling my wife a lier. While this is happening, 2 other clients mistakes were being resolved at the exact time she is defending the quality of work. The manager allowed the salon artist to offer a $45 refund on the services and my wife refuses and requested the full $90. Then my wife told her that if she did not refund the full amount than that is fine because she would file a claim with the small claims court. The manager stepped back in the conversation stating that this salon artist has been to court before and the court ruled that she does good work. This statement alone is absolutely comical. Then the manager told my wife that if she did not leave the premise then she would call the police. My wife refused to leave because she wanted the full amount refunded so the manager called the police. The police showed up and spoke with the manager and salon artist for a minute or so. During this time, the salon artist screamed and yelled at this police officer trying to justify her case. The police officer told her that he did not understand why they were called because this was a civil matter and there has not been any violence committed by the client. This is a perfect example of how people misunderstand protective civil services and laws. A fair warning to anyone that goes to this location, your initial experience might be fantastic as my wife's experience was but if they knowingly messed up services rendered, you are a criminal for requesting rightful justification after the manager honored the justification on the phone.

It was my fault for not realizing she was starting whole head highlights, as I am used to getting all over color for the last 10 years. The highlights that were done are chunky all over and uneven on top. There must have been some foil sliding or bleach not put close enough to my scalp on top (or applied halfway through) that wasn't noticed. The sides are super white and then gradients to how they are supposed to look at the ends. From afar I almost look bald in those areas. The color achieved on top was kinda close to what color I wanted but once again, not nicely as blended as I wished. Also missing a whole area on top. Still giving 3 stars because the stylist was very nice and the hair cut was done well. I'm not a very confrontational person, so I will just have my hair fixed at my next appointment at another salon.

So this Corona virus had me looking like a mop head as my hair was crazy long and with me working…read morein the oil fields wearing a hard hat, not a good combo. So the hair cut places opened up about a week ago and unfortunately or fortunately depending on how you look at it, I waited a week for the craziness to dissipate. So my wife and I had spotted this place some time ago and it's close to home, about 5 minutes away so I called a day before and set up a 9:30am appointment. I show up a few minutes early and was greeted right away. The guys there had their masks on and they took my temp right away so that was a good sign. I was seated right away and told my barber what I wanted and he got to work. Let me just say he was meticulous and let his hands work their magic.. an hour later and I was golden.. he even took care of my mustache and in the end, both my wife and i were pleased. I highly recommend this place to anyone needing a great hair cut and being taken care of. The ambience is awesome and the music playing isn't obnoxious at all. I'll be back in a few weeks as this will be my go to from now on.
