Mirna was able to take me at the last minute. She did a thorough flat iron and trim in my hair in way less time than some places just do blow outs, and the quality of her work was way better. I can't afford to fly back from Dallas whenever I need her, but I'm going to try to schedule her in advance when I know I'm coming back to town. New to the area and new client. I provided my stylist with the two photos, which she dismissed and showed me Pinterest photos on her phone. I explained that I prefer nicely blended highlights that were done mostly on the already lighter parts of my crown/Mohawk. It was my fault for not realizing she was starting whole head highlights, as I am used to getting all over color for the last 10 years. The highlights that were done are chunky all over and uneven on top. There must have been some foil sliding or bleach not put close enough to my scalp on top (or applied halfway through) that wasn't noticed. The sides are super white and then gradients to how they are supposed to look at the ends. From afar I almost look bald in those areas. The color achieved on top was kinda close to what color I wanted but once again, not nicely as blended as I wished. Also missing a whole area on top. Still giving 3 stars because the stylist was very nice and the hair cut was done well. I'm not a very confrontational person, so I will just have my hair fixed at my next appointment at another salon. read more

In summary, Sandra is awesome!! I was in town from Boston. I stayed longer then usual for the holidays and found myself in need of a one process color. I found Eclectics on Yelp. Called and spoke with Sandra. A couple of hours later I was in her chair getting my above shoulder length hair colored. She analyzed my current color which had some grey showing especially at hair line. She used a paul Mitchell color that was fabulous She then used a conditioner that was wonderful Afterwards I didn't wash my hair for 4 days because I didn't need to It looked and felt wonderful I anticipate seeing Sandra again the next time I find myself in El Paso in need of a color! I had my hair done by Bianca and it was terrible. After damaging my hair going platinum (with another hair dresser) I began my rehabilitation process and also switched hairdressers, which is when I started going with Bianca. When I first went with Bianca, I explained my situation and my goal. I cut my hair in a bob, below my shoulders . (I've always had long hair-so this was new to me) that's how committed I was to getting my hair back to a healthy state. I died my hair back to my natural hair color, which I hadn't done in years . This was August 2018. My hair grew, I switched shampoos, did treatments and kept going back to get my tips trimmed and it was looking pretty good. I knew I wanted to go back to blonde, but I had decided it'd be with someone I trusted and knew how to really work with colors. When I decided my hair was healthy enough, I told Bianca I was ready for a change. I had my brother's wedding in Cancun coming up, so it was the perfect time! Bianca guaranteed me that she could do it. Either highlights or a balayage...I didn't care how, I just wanted to begin the process of going back to blonde! Set my appt up for 8:00 am on a Saturday with Bianca. She was late and arrived at appx 8:20-8:25 am.. I told her what I wanted once again. I left it in her hands and trusted her to do her thing. Well , she slapped bleach on my hair. Once done with that, I was left at the sink "treating" for 30-45 minutes at a time. Which seemed like an eternity She was working on other clients in between the sessions I spent at the sink. It was a terrible experience. My hair turned out copper and the roots were not blended in. It looked Horrible !! When I got in the car and saw my hair up close... I began to cry from how terrible it looked. I was so disappointed and of course messaged her to let her know, with hopes of getting a refund. Practically said she couldn't because it was her time and product. She said she did exactly what I had asked for. She defended her work and said I could only be refunded my tip... which I never got back. Even after I had sent the photos... I had my brother's wedding coming up, and now Another expensive trip to a different salon to try and fix my hair. I had the worst experience and I wouldn't recommend this salon. Such a big disappointment. After defending her work and making excuses and saying it was exactly what I had asked for, she messaged me the following day saying she could fix it. I was upset with the way she had handled the situation initially, and knew that I couldn't trust her with my hair ever again so I left it at that and never responded. I have now gone twice to the mixx off of mesa where I fixed my hair. The service was outstanding in comparison and my hair is now looking how I wanted from the beginning.. Love this place! I've been going to Yvette for 6 years and wouldn't let anyone else touch my locks. I highly recommend her, she's always extremely honest with ideas and is willing to work with tight schedule. As most salons, this one is closed Sundays/Mondays but have space and many other great stylists. In addition to a great color/cut/style they include beverages and a head massage during your shampoo. Honestly, I am one of the pickiest persons on earth when it comes to my stylist... Yvette Lascurain is amazing! She gave me an amazing updated style and wonderful highlights/lowlights... my hair looks so healthy and natural. It's bouncy and just so gorgeous and soft. I kept looking for the right person... and she is perfection! The salon itself is beautiful, clean, relaxing and the other professionals are so nice and make it feel so inviting. Andrew did my shampoo... wow- I literally was so relaxed that I was falling into a deep relaxation coma. I totally recommend Eclectics Salon and Spa. And especially Yvette!! Thank you!!! read more
