Erika who is the point person in the office is extremely responsive and pleasant to work with. This review has to do with my recent engagement of Hopewell Septic to conduct soil testing: Charlie Jr and his team arrived well in advance of our scheduled appointment time which I truly appreciated. That meant that they would be ready to go as soon as the health inspector and engineer arrived. FLEXIBILITY: due to recent storms, the soil test had to be postponed, I appreciated their flexibility. The soil testing was needed to determine the full scope of my property septic system since my home was built in the 50s and the previous owners had done some updates, but did not leave me the details. We have not done any of the Septic work yet so I will be updating my reviews once that's completed. The only item I wish they could make changes to are the way that they produce reports. This project requires detailed reporting. Once I pointed that out to them, they made corrections and adjustments, which I appreciate appreciated.

I had called them initially and was given some sound FREE advise on what to check first before going down the road of having them visit. I always appreciated that and kept them in mind should the need occur. Speed up to this month. We had chronically low pressure with no recovery. They were able to fit us in before they went on vacation (family owned businesses are entitled to that). They did a systematic and thorough diagnosis before checking the pump itself. It turned out that our 32 year old pump was filled with sediment. They had a matching (and more powerful with a three year warranty) pump on hand thankfully. They replaced it, changed a faulty pressure gauge, and adjusted the pressure tank. As of right now we have much more water pressure than previously. Based on our experience with them, they were quick, efficient, professional, and we feel that it was money well spent. Eventually, we may have to drill deeper since we ultimately want a Constant Pressure system. If what they installed holds up, then they will hear from me again.

They worked diligently in rough weather on difficult mountainous, rocky terrain to determine the cause of the problem. The frost and tree roots had damaged my water line.
