WINTERWONDERLAND 2011 i was so looking forward to this night, the kids were so excited, we took a 5 yr old, nearly 3 yr old and a 2 yr old, we were all so dissapointed and the kids left in tears. We got there early, booked to see Santa, but could only get a 7pm slot, it was freezing cold, but we waited, at 7pm we went through on the lantern walk, this is where the fairies are, so you have to pay £5 to see them, we were then met by a massive queue, which was not moving, we waited and waited in the freezing cold for nearly an hour and hardly moved in the queue, the kids were frozen and fed up, there was nothing to do once you are through to see 'santa' but wait in a queue, after an hour, we asked for a refund which was given, but the kids had to leave without seeing Santa and it ruined the night, it was massively overbooked, I think 40 people had the 7pm slot, i guess it would have been nearly 9pm before we got to the front of the queue, far too much for little children £1.50 entrance fee, but you have to pay for everything else, the rides, snowqueen, arts and crafts are all extra wasnt as big as i expected, but the santa queue totally ruined it for us beware!! read more
