I was not sure how it worked because I never stayed in a hotel that looked more like a mansion. The outside is really nice. There's ample parking outside. Everything is automated. There's no staff on site that I've seen. At the front door there is a phone number that you call. The guy who answered was nice and kind enough to even let me in and check the place out. It's not a hotel or a motel so I'm not used to not having a front desk. When he opened the door remotely, there were people, guests, inside. Then he directed me to one of the rooms and let me view it. It was nice and clean. It's high end. Marbles, chandeliers, glass. There's a living room and electronic fireplace where you and your friends can relax and chat. The kitchen is huge and guests can cook and store food in the fridge. There's microwave if you want to heat food. Going upstairs, there's about 10 guest rooms. There's a washing machine and dryer on the second floor and for a small amount guests can do their laundry. Entering the room, it is very clean. Fresh linens and bath towels are provided. There's a walk in closet and bathroom is nice. There's a king sized bed in my room. There's TV where you can connect your phone wirelessly and play you tube videos. It was a very pleasant and relaxing stay. You can chat with other guests in the kitchen if you happen to see them. Check out is very simple. I received a call from Kim and asked if I wanted to extend or if I am checking out. I just needed to text her for this. It's as simple as that. I recommend staying at this place. It is good and inexpensive.

Liked: 1) Hotel was clean 2) Housekeeping was exceptional and provided more than status quo service. Thank you for everything you do! 3) Overnight front desk ladies were pleasant and inviting. Overall, this property looks great on paper. When viewing from Marriott.com, it stands out. However, it does not do a good job of making sure all guests feel valued. It focuses on Higher tier members, and the rest do not matter as much. This hotel comes at a premium and is very outdated in room (especially shower/tub combo). This hotel was planned to be my go-to hotel, as I visit the area once every 2 months. That is unlikely at this point. I would recommend checking out the Civic Hotel nearby instead. They do a better job delivering Marriott's standards of service.

Neelam and Kirin both did an excellent job on this visit and past visits to select specific rooms for us and make us welcome. A big thank-you also to Roselle the manager who always makes it a point to welcome us personally, and works silently behind the scenes to make sure every aspect of every visit is simply perfect. Lots of parking. Great customer service at check in. Building only has 3 floors We booked a suite and it looked like a small one bedroom apartment. Comfortable for our two night stay. Everything was clean. Highly recommended if you do not want to pay more than you need to. Place is located though around 40 min away from Vancouver City Centre.

We rented a queen room (for 2) with spa bath for 3 nights in June 2022 through Booking.com. The home has multiple common, shared areas, including a living room, multiple kitchen areas, and bathrooms (though some rooms have private baths). The building seems to have been recently renovated with fresh paint, high-end showers/baths, chandeliers, etc. There are many beautiful architectural design features, including tray ceilings, crown molding, and unique shades. Our unit had a jacuzzi tub, and the common kitchens had all that we needed to prepare and store some food. Two high-quality towels, and some basic toiletries were provided. Price was GREAT for the Surrey area. A few things could have made this an exceptional rather than very good stay. (1) better communication from property management. Basic info was lacking, such as WiFi password, what areas of the building were accessible by all vs. off limits, where to find replacement toilet paper, how to check out. (2) guests are expected to leave their shoes on a rack at the front door. We're okay with this but, had we have known this ahead of time, we would've brought slippers. Our feet were cold on the marble floor. (3) all items related to cooking are in shared kitchens on the 1st floor. Unfortunately, expectations for cleanliness were not laid out to guests -- and some were slobs -- for instance, leaving dirty dishes in the sink. (4) two chairs and a small table are at the front entrance, which unfortunately has become a hang-out area for smokers -- some of whom left cigarette butts and fast food wrappers that weren't cleaned for the duration of our stay. We also had an issue with a leashed dog at the entrance, and, (5) be aware that there is some traffic noise, and occasionally some noise from other units.

It'll be fun if you go swimming and then do BBQ afterwards on a summer day! The shower booth was located next to the pool. I felt so cold outside so I changed and got dressed in the washroom instead.
