With 42 dollars on Taxes and 15.00 booking fee, I'd say give Wyndham a pass. Highway robbers

We were charged $300/night (far more than the posted online price) and in no way aligned with the amenities and cleanliness of the place - Poor wayfinding. Lack of signage e.g. to lobby - Uncomfortable- Hard bed and thin pillows - Loud- thin walls and next to a highway/road noise all night long - No cribs/playpens/places for babies to sleep. We called ahead requesting a crib. They asked us to call again the morning of. When we did, we were told they had absolutely no place for our baby to safely sleep. - unsafe: have to walk into the street from the lobby to access rooms, unsavory guests partying by the parking lot late into the night - Poor customer service - Parking lot is small with limited spots and tight- see photo We were traveling from out of town to a wedding and were all part of the wedding party. We seriously considered finding alternative accommodation due to the issues above. The wedding day ended up being too busy for us to find time to move. Don't make the same mistake we did- find another place to stay especially if you have little ones.

They have a variety of room types, including, Jacuzzi bedrooms, lofts, partial and full kitchenettes, and one bedroom suites. The rooms are clean and well-appointed. Plenty of free parking, more around the back. A huge shout-out to Neelam, Kirin, and Serena at the front desk. On our most recent visit, Serena made some last minute room changes for our party that worked out very well. She applied her resources to this problem over two days and persistently sought a solution as if we were the most important guest the property had ever welcomed. Neelam and Kirin both did an excellent job on this visit and past visits to select specific rooms for us and make us welcome. A big thank-you also to Roselle the manager who always makes it a point to welcome us personally, and works silently behind the scenes to make sure every aspect of every visit is simply perfect. If you have business in the BC lower mainland, want to be treated like a VIP, need top accommodations at an affordable price point, and flexibility in last minute room changes, then this hotel is well located and clearly open for business! Book directly with Sandman to earn those sweet RSVP reward dollars that stack-up remarkably quickly. In BC, when we think of Sandman, we think of frictionless solutions to accommodation problems that we didn't even know we had! See the Loft Suite photos attached to this review.

We did not have breakfast here as we were hurrying to our next destination. Give yourself more time than expected as there was a line when we were checking out around 9 am. There is free parking on site which is always very convenient, and pets are allowed here too. There is a pool with water slide and a hot tub. The place was packed with people, especially children since it was the last week of Spring break, There is also a gym here. Our room was surprisingly big. There was a sitting area with sofa and fireplace. There was also a microwave besides the usual fridge and coffee maker. No bottled water. The bathroom was equally spacious with a big bath tub and seating area. You could fit two in it. Same with the separate shower area. I do not understand why there are showerheads on both ends though, Maybe to save time if you are there with a partner to shower? Checking in and out was quite a breeze. No issue on that. Free wifi, not spotty at all.

I've never stayed on a property where you are escorted to your room upon checking in and are offered an introduction to all of the details. There are small luxuries everywhere you look. There are a lot of perks to staying here. The price was comparable during our stay to other hotels that don't have quite the quaint feel, level of service, or room appeal. During your stay you can get complimentary passes to a couple gyms/pools in town. You either make the walk or drive to them however. I do enjoy an attached gym and pool. That was the only downside. You can also get a free pass for a yoga class! The yoga studio is two stores down and seems so fun. I would have scheduled a massage here as it was super reasonably priced for 60 or 90 minutes, but the last booking was nabbed by the time I made up my mind. Also, free bike check out if you happen to be here during nicer weather. Too cold for us. In the room you'll find quality bath amenities, free snacks and drinks, coffee maker, water kettle, teas, and a decent sized fridge. The bathroom had ample towels and nice shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers (simple human). There was a hair dryer (not the best) and a lighted makeup mirror. If you've forgotten something (toothbrush/paste, razor, etc) they have some convenient supplies at their front desk per the in-room info folder. The only thing you'll want to note is that our sink/mirror was outside of the shower/bathroom if that matters to you or your roomate. Very clean and appreciate that pets are not allowed here. Would definitely stay here again. Parking: Ample street parking adjacent to the hotel during our stay.

This is a beautiful little hotel in the suburbs of Murrayville. The historical inn has been beautiful restored and furnished - like traveling to a different time and place but with all the modern amenities of wifi, cable, central air-conditioning, and good quality plumbing. We had the privilege of staying in the Cinderella room (website photos give a nice idea of what each room is like). Beautifully decorated and on the side of the home where the rose vines grow. Impeccably clean. The bed was firm and pillows soft. One of the things we loved the most were the little details and touches: the hand painted quote from Mr. Murray, the artwork labels for each suite, the signature "P" on the hangers, and the chocolate & maple syrup welcome treats. Breakfast was brought to our door right on time and beautifully presented. The muffins were still warm and the high quality porcelain teapot kept our tea nice and hot. A filling continental breakfast! Kudos to Angela and her family for creating such a beautiful space and for their excellent service and communication. Can't wait to be back for a little staycation!

Everything is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated without adding too much kitsch to the whole affair. The bed was comfortable and we loved the deep soaking bathtub we used to relax after a rainy day. The fireplace in our room kept us cozy and warm all night long and we would have loved to spend another night here. The (free) Wifi was super fast by the way! We met Wally on our stay and had a nice chat with him. He is super friendly and all about organic food and sustainability. The breakfast is pretty basic but good to get your day started with coffee, cereal, fruits and self-baked fruit-muffins. If you are interested you can get lots of information about the history of this B&B, Wally's family history and you can even touch a piece of the Berlin wall! We had a great night at this B&B and would love to come back! When we left we even got a glass of organic jam to take home, so nice to have such a delicious reminder of our weekend.

These cabins are nice. The bed is so comfortable and they even have heated flooring in the bathroom. The cabin we booked came with so many things that you would never get from a hotel (I.e. toaster, cutlery, plates, fridge, etc.) and for pretty much the same price. Honestly, if I had plans to goo hiking in the area or boarding at Whistler, I'd make this my god to accommodation. It's also a 10min drive from Alice Lake. One thing to note, and by no means is this a complaint, but bare in mind that not all of the cabins have a decent river view, but accessing the Cheakamus is only a couple minutes away. You can definitely hear it though and it's actually very relaxing to fall asleep to. Info: - The staff are very friendly - Fergies cafe is located here, which is a huge plus. - The parking spot is conveniently located right in front of your front door, which is very helpful if your unloading a bunch of bags and equipment. - Check out is a breeze. You just drop the key off at a box in front of the office.
