The customer service was also lacking. The staff didn't greet me when I walked in or ask if I needed help. They seemed rushed from the start and didn't make me feel welcome. While making my smoothie, the employee worked so quickly it felt like she was trying to shoo me out the door. For the price, I expected much better quality and a friendlier atmosphere. Unfortunately, both the drink and the service missed the mark. I won't be coming back and can't recommend it unless things improve.

They did seem a bit busy during this dinner time, but there's quite a difference in flavor between the two when you're craving a sweet drink you know (also a minor price difference)... While we've only been here for lunch otherwise but I must say their pastry case items look so appealing at every visit (oh how we managed to be good). The key difference I see between the competitors only a minute or two apart is the ingredient list in each drink. If you're like me and like simple 4 ingredient smoothies without the extra "immune/ muscle boost," tropical smoothie cafe is for you. Plus, you won't get charged the premium fee that come with these boosters included in the basic price, like at Smoothie King. Their rewards app is easy to use and I quickly ordered a Guava Margarita and a BBQ Pork Quesadilla (both summer offerings). I don't see many places offer fresh guava so its a plus! Pleasantly surprised by the quality of food at a smoothie chain. I'd order again - and definitely be back to try other blends!
