Beautiful location downtown. The shop is narrow with a plenty of seating. The coffee? I got a hot latte. They cooked the milk! Then left at least an inch of empty space in the a 12oz cup.. get the impression this is for yuppies. Not a proper coffee place imo. Still very nice to visit. read more

Such a nice spot to stumble upon with my boyfriend when we were in town! The staff were very friendly and we were able to get coffee and bagels pretty fast. The prices were decent and there is a cute area to sit while you wait on your food and beverages. Next time we are in town, we will be sure to stop by for a bagel and coffee! read more

I guess I have a new favorite drink now thanks to this place. I love a good Matcha latte with oat milk. Today I ask about recommendations of adding something else and they added a strawberry syrup to my latte. It was absolutely delicious! The service is always super friendly. I really appreciate a barista who can make suggestions and knows the menu, and they always do. There is ample seating and although I have never come here to work, I feel like it would be a good place to get a little work done as it's not incredibly loud. They also have a decent selection of pastry items as well as breakfast and lunch options. This is a great local staple. read more

Let's get into this review. Location: plenty of seats for a group meeting of 6 to 8 people. Easy to find in a rustic red brick building that has other quaint local shops worth checking out. Parking: If you want to park in the front of the business space is limited so be prepared to walk. Noise: It's what you would expect in a coffee shop. Food: I had a deli slice turkey, cheese and avocado slices. Very good just wish they offered turkey sausage. White chocolate cookie lack more white chocolate and sweetness in my opinion. Beverage: Matcha with almond milk was very delicious and served at the perfect temperature. Conclusion: Definitely worth visiting again and you should stop also. read more

Gallery Row is the place suitable for so many purposes: studying, relaxing, hanging out with friends, reading, etc. Their menu is extensive and extrinsic- lots of great options for coffee and tea lovers alike! Their coffee is distinctive and shouldn't be compared to an establishment like Starbucks. Gallery Row also serves ice cream which is decadent! But, I do not recommend their pastries, they are often stale no matter when I have purchased them. Staff are nice and greet you upon entering! read more

A very quaint and charismatic place to chill. I've heard it can get crazy busy but my husband and I got here at a good time, Sunday afternoon, and hour before closing. Near a college and so that most likely contributes to its popular lines. Sister-in-law mentioned it can take an hour or more for your drink to come out if it's crazy busy. Your drink is definitely handcrafted with care and efficiency so please don't expect a quick in and out with your order during peak times. I also didn't expect the menu on the inside to be so vast with LOADS of options! So I took images of their menu for ya! I got their cookies and cream frappe and it's quite delicious and Very creamy. Definitely a MUST to come back. Husband got an iced Honeysuckle latte which was perfection. Not too strong and not too sweet. Kathleen is such an awesome barista! Rude Female Barista working there on March 18th. @4:45 pm This girl argued and spoke over me, then lied about the 2 drinks we just ordered. They weren't the drinks we ordered at all.. Putting ice into a nitro brew with plain coffee and argued about the Frozen coffee we ordered by saying we didn't order a frozen coffee but an ice latte. Gave her a tip as well. Refused to remake the drink correctly unless we asked nicely-we did ask nicely, until she started arguing about it. Not sure how much nicer we could have been, considering she refused to do it. Everyone in there couldn't believe it. To be treated so horribly as a customer with my 15 year old daughter is unbelievable! Wanted to like it way more than I actually did. The inside is super cute and they have a couple tables outside for customers as well. Service was a little slow, and the employees should communicate better with each other, I had to stop the barista from giving me a second cookie since the cashier had already gotten it for me. Not sure why the barista was having to do it all and the cashier seemed to only be getting food at random? Got an iced oat milk mocha and a chocolate chip cookie which came out to $8.50 (decent pricing). Cookie was an oval shape which intrigued me. Unfortunately it didn't have much depth of flavor, just sweet and was quite crumbly. Latte was okay. The mocha was Ghirardelli which is usually pretty good but in this case really settled to the bottom of the drink. The other options were Torani syrup which I don't enjoy, so I made sure not to get those. The espresso wasn't strong enough to hold up to the oat milk so it wasn't the greatest latte. Maybe I got the wrong things but it wasn't my favorite coffee shop experience. read more

Coffee is usually great here - baristas, too. Yesterday my wife and I ordered 2 cold brew. Order came up as 2 iced coffee. I asked "2 cold brews right?" And the barista said, "same thing". Brother no they ain't the same thing.. iced coffee is brewed hot and served cold.. cold brew is brewed cold and served cold; they're very different. Paid $8.50 for iced coffees that were just okay. I love this coffee shop. I wish we lived closer to it because these are too rare. Nice environment with great music playing. It's not too loud so you can have a regular conversation with the people sitting at your table. They have lovely art on the walls that appear to be local artists. The items are also affordable and not expensive. They taste great I bought the Cookies and Cream Frappe and my wife got the Java Chip Cold brew. Both were delicious! Love this gem on the downtown Carrollton Square. Looks from the outside are very deceiving as it is huuuuge on the inside for your typical coffee house. There is a large variety of seating so if you're working on a paper, there are tons of table tops. If you just want to curl up on a rainy day with your favorite book on a couch, there are a few of those as well. Caffeine, sugar, sugar loaded carbs, they've got a huge selection! Gallery Row Coffee was an awesome find in my random stroll downtown after lunch. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming, and the venue itself is pretty spacious. They're apparently well known for not only coffee but also ice cream and smoothies (based on what I noticed people ordering in front of me). I decided to keep it simple after lunch with a small coffee and a large peanut butter cookie. They had a decent array of baked goods: cookies, coffee cakes, scones, and the like. They serve a medium roast and a dark roast. Since I'm not exactly a coffee connoisseur, I don't really remember the names/flavors; I guess it changes occasionally since they write down the names/flavors on a large dry-erase board. The coffee was pretty good with enough caffeine to keep the food coma at bay, and the cookie was really gooey and had real peanuts in it for that crunch in every gooey bite. I'm not in Carrollton too often, but I may have just found my go-to coffee shop when I need it. read more

Super tasty coffee, and their scones and blueberry muffins are also delicious. I love their breve, and if I'm feeling extra exhausted, the crackacino is liquid caffeine. They brew up all sorts of drinks from the classic cappuccino to a GR specialty like their Mexican Mocha. They've also got nitro coffee at their other location, and that is pure coffee genius right there. It's a complete revelation. The vibe is very cool: exposed brick wall, wooden door, lots of couches. Wonderful artwork. A nice safe place with lots of lovely people working to get people freshly brewed beverages as well as yummy smoothies and other iced drinks. Gallery Row has pretty good coffee and is in a great location in downtown Carrollton. I think the space is used appropriately and has plenty of comfortable couches and seating areas. If you go in and see a young barista, chances are your experience will be fine. The reason I'm giving Gallery Row Coffee three stars is because of the owners, an older couple. I've seen them be rude and insulting to their employees and they've been rude to me more than once. I'm not a difficult customer--I ordered an iced latte and when a barista made it hot, I just asked him to pour it over ice. One of the owners, an older woman, snapped angrily and said that's not the way I ordered it even though customers around me heard me order it iced. If it were just one time I'd witnessed poor attitudes from this couple, I could forgive it, but I've seen it too often at Gallery Row. For even better coffee and service, I'd recommend driving down Macon Street to Bella Coffee. read more

They have a lot of fun flavors for lattes and mochas. I had the yin-yang mocha which is, as you suspect, a combination of white and dark chocolate syrups. It reminded me of a swirled ice cream cone, which I always loved. My friend had a white gingerbread mocha which was also tasty. And Dear Starbucks.. Torani makes gingerbread syrup so why can't we have that in the US and Xmas time. But I digress... the only issue is that the coffee is not particularly hot. It's kind of lukewarm when they give it to you, which isn't fabulous. But the quality and taste are excellent. read more

Coffee is decent. Nothing spectacular but also it is Carrollton. Whenever I visit home, this is the closest place to get good coffee and it's at least thirty miles from my parents' home so that tells you the dire coffee situation the small-town South is in. They also carry soy and almond milk which is a major plus and their mocha and caramel sauce is really good. The atmosphere is even better. It's cozy and modern at the same time. One can tell it's a respite for all breeds of people: liberals, intellectuals, college students, the queer community, and anyone in between. But the real reason I'm giving this place 5 stars is the brownies! Specifically, the pecan ones. They are humongous and dense without being too fudgey and are seriously the best brownies I've ever sunk my teeth into. Get them! read more
