Was hankering for chia bowl and a smoothie so I decided to place a deliver order and get a trifecta of a Chia bowl for breakfast, a smoothie for whenever, and a flatbread for lunch. FOOD: The Chia Oatmeal bowl was absolutely delicious with chia seeds, red quinoa, granola, coconut milk, and steel cut oats topped with Chobani plain Greek yogurt, fresh blueberries, fresh sliced banana, chia seeds and honey drizzle. My only complaint and I feel it's a valid one is this is called a Chia bowl, but there was very little of the Chia pudding and the whole reason I ordered it was for the Chia pudding. But sadly it was more granola than anything else. Still very yummy but not what I was hoping for. For lunch, I ordered a chicken pesto flatbread with grilled chicken, tomatoes, shredded Parmesan mozzarella and pesto. I had not tried this one yet so decided to give it a whirl. It was good with moist chicken and the pesto was not overpowering. They've got the worst customer service to ever exist. Never been treated so poorly. They called me fat and a pig and that I should never eat there ever again all because I asked if I can add an extra smoothie to my order. Decent spot. The chicken meals are rather small for their price. Yes inflation is real, but one would expect a bit more filling. I like the variety of smoothies they have here. Also you can get a protein choice with them. My recommendation for bulking up and general health is the whey. Their smoothies are quite delicious. I haven't found one I don't like. The employees here are very friendly. This is a good spot for a first date. It is close and convenient to a lot in the area. Parking is usually fairly easy as well. Tropical smoothie is bae... I repeat, tropical smoothie is bae!!! I like this location because it close to my house and the parking is really easy. As a creature of habit I only get the Paradise Point and of course add ginger. If you've never ordered from Tropical Smoothie please know that you'll get your monies worth as the cups are humongous!!! I also had their Sunshine smoothie (with added ginger) last Summer when they were doing their donation drive for their camp. The food is also pretty delicious as well. I LOVE their salads and will sometimes get a smoothie and salad, save the salad for lunch as the smoothie seems to fill me up. I ordered a smoothie and was very specific about what I wanted in it due to certain things upsetting my stomach. When I heard the next customer specify that she did not want sugar in hers, I made sure to confirm that they were not adding sugar to my smoothie. The cashier said they already made it with sugar. I nicely told her that I cannot drink it because it will upset my stomach and since I was specific on what I wanted and paid $10 for the smoothie I would appreciate them remaking it correctly. The cashier was extremely rude and mumbled under her breath I guess they're remaking it after arguing with me for a good 5 minutes and then dismissed me by yelling next . I didn't hear what she mumbled so I confirmed that they were remaking it. She then said that's what I just said and rolled her eyes. Ok, I'm really glad we went with Tropical Smoothie Cafe for lunch instead of a different, larger sandwich chain. I ordered online, so I do not have any experience at the actual location. But the food we got was delivered really quickly, still warm, and tasted delicious. Co-workers and I all ended up ordering the same flatbread with a different smoothie. The Chicken Chipotle Flatbread was inhaled by all! I liked the little bit of kick from the chipotle mayo and didn't find any one ingredient overpowering or over-represented. A good mix of flavors and textures throughout the whole thing. The flatbread is more like pita bread, soft with some grill marks from getting toasted. I personally loved it and loved that it was folded in half for easy handling. We each got a different smoothie: Strawberry Beach, Pomegranate Plunge, and Sunny Do. The guy with the Sunny Do finished his first and let out an audible sigh when he was done. He liked it that much. I think it had mango and banana in it. My other co-worker stole my Pomegranate Plunge....so I'm still a bit bitter about that, but he seems to enjoy it. My unintentional Strawberry Beach smoothie tasted good. I was most surprised by the amount of smoothie we got! Smoothies were only $4.99 when added to a flatbread and this is like 24 oz of smoothie goodness! $6.99 on their own. Located next to Starbucks and in the same shopping center as LIDL. I usually come here if I want to get something fast and to go. They have an app that helps too. I usually either get their sunrise sunset or kiwi quencher. They have options you can do for their smoothies such as supplements you can add or sugar substitutes. Their wraps are great too. The caesar wrap and Thai are my favorites. The chicken caprese was also delicious. Would definitely recommend. read more

A consistently inconsistent smoothie shop. I live right down the street and have been to this TSC three times so far in the past two years hoping their service and efficiency has improved and every single time I had to wait over 20 minutes for one smoothie. This time though, I decided to plan ahead and place a mobile order and once again, had to wait an additional twenty minutes after the order was supposed to be ready. After sitting in the shop waiting I noticed several things that raised red flags: 1) they had messed up 3 orders before mine 2) the workers who worked in the back wore gloves then came up to the register to take orders and handle money using the same gloves 3) some of the workers in the back did not wear any gloves 4) they had 3 smoothies that were discarded because the orders were given to the wrong customers 5) the chad asked me my name and name of the smoothie i ordered a whopping total of 4 times before receiving my smoothie 6) a majority of the employees in this shop look like kids (meaning i don't believe i saw a manager on duty) 7) never received an apology for waiting 20 minutes in the store and 35 minutes total for a smoothie (should have demanded a refund and walked out but i really wanted a darn smoothie). EDIT: My husband picked up a smoothie for myself and him because I am pregnant and desperately wanted a smoothie. All was good, except his wait time again, an additional 15 minutes after calling ahead 10 minutes... and my lovely orange ginger glow smoothie with surprise sticker that I sucked up from the straw from what I am guessing is the orange. read more

They really screwed up my order. I ordered and paid for one smoothie online. Wife came along and decided she wanted one too, but a different flavor. The cashier asked wife if she wanted protein (added) and she said yes. So she took that to mean she wanted two smoothies. She rang up three smoothies on the tab and I said we only want two smoothies and one was paid for online (that is, we only should be charged for one smoothie, not three). She showed me "Brad's" order for three smoothies. I said, I'm not Brad and we want two smoothies and already paid for one online. We went back and forth for 15 minutes with the cashier and the manager on duty. After about 10 minutes MY online order with receipt showed up on the counter. But they never got the order right. We ended up with two smoothies that were the same when wife ordered a different one. Very frustrating for such a simple request, just add one more smoothie to the one already ordered and paid for online. I will drive out of my way to other locations to avoid a repeat of this major FAIL. read more

Ordered food today, the door dash delivery person took my food from the location and kept it. No problem, I called to get a replacement. When they answered, I was cut off and handed off 2 separate times without any type of customer service and being asked to hold temporarily and such. I understand these are mostly young kids working there, so this type of behavior is simply from poor management. When I was finally given to a manager, I explained the situation, and I was told I could not get a replacement because they were too busy. Really? That's that? This type of service must be a result of the employee shortage and they chose from the bottom of the barrel. Some poor franchisee owns this location, and they are really hurting their ROI. read more

The one issue I had with this location was that they wouldn't give me a side item with my flatbread, sandwich, etc. because I had a discount. There are three categories of smoothies: Low-fat, supercharged, (with different boosts like acai, vitamins, etc.) and indulgent, (AKA fattening but oh-so-delicious!) which all come in 24 oz. Along with smoothies, there's food such as wraps, sandwiches, flatbreads, and breakfast foods. There's also a kids menu with their own smoothies and food. I ordered the Paradise Point, and my boyfriend ordered the Bahama Mama. The Paradise Point was simply refreshing, and the Bahama Mama had a hint of white chocolate that made it taste similar to a pina colada. It was more of a juice that lacked any sweetness of the island green smoothie I am used to getting.
