He troubleshooted my tooth pain and performed minimally invasive procedures to preserve my tooth. I was hesitant for a long time to see a dentist for my chronic dental discomfort because I don't have dental insurance, but I was relieved they charged reasonable prices. The clinic is bright, spacious, and clean. The staff is friendly. I wish I lived in the area so I can be a forever patient of Dr. Felt.

He had a son who died, and I had a brother who died. He told me flat out that my pain could not be as bad as his pain. He has no idea how close I was to my brother. The third incident was. I had to have a partial adjusted. It fit my mouth perfectly before coming into the office. I had to leave the partial overnight. The next day I told him it didn't fit my mouth at all, and he accused me of dropping it, and stepping on it, which I think he did while he was in his care. I do not recommend this Dentist

We scheduled here because they are right by our house, and they accept our new insurance plan (Cottonwood location) We booked an appt. a couple weeks out for our daughter who is an adult with autism, and confirmed via text message & phone reminders 3x. (That part you guys have dialed in). When I scheduled, I specifically mentioned that to the person taking the appt. & and let her know me or my husband would be coming to the appt. with her. Appointment day comes, my husband goes to the appt. & the offices are closed, we thought maybe they were just closed for lunch, nope, it turns out they scheduled us at their Redwood location. When I called to inquire about it, I got someone named Nancy, and oh gosh; this woman has the MOST crusty demeanor, attitude, and absolutely would not acknowledge they maybe made a mistake, zero accountability & zero effs given to provide customer service & help me resolve it. I actually spoke to the Dr. - although he offered to make it right, and rescheduled us for the next day at Cottonwood, we just did not feel we wanted to risk it. Also; our other daughter went to the Cottonwood location a few weeks prior; the experience wasn't great, poor front desk & patient satisfaction overall. To the dentist that owns this place: my advice - re-train your staff & raise your expectations of how they treat your patients. You're in a PRIME location in Cottonwood Heights, but we chose to drive to West Jordan for care, due to this poor interaction. I know you guys can do better!!! Being "understaffed" is a BS reason/excuse and does not sit well with us, especially coming in as BRAND NEW 1st time patients. Going to the dentist gives a lot of people anxiety, and this entire experience did nothing to assuage that for us. Not sure my family and I will continue to go here which is a shame because Carrol is the best dentist I've had. Without Kim this office deserves 5 stars.

All I know is i ended with an infection for which I couldn't get antibiotics because he had left town. Infection "obviously" in the gums above the tooth had nothing to do with him. Later was told the continuing problems with same tooth were out of warranty. Lost the number 2 tooth and went through a horrible root canal in number 3 with different dentists. I don't know if the phantom pain I continue to have is from the missing tooth or from the number 2 that had to be extracted. Wouldn't ever go again. Paid for full ceramic crowns. Got part stainless instead. Got a root canal and horrible infection. Doctor was off in Mexico with no one on call. Finally got back and it couldn't possibly have been him. Pointed out that the infection was right where the shots went into the gums. The crown on the #3 had a gap and developed a hole between the band and tooth. When they tried to use bleach to sterilize #3 it drained down through the crown and into my throat. Ended up the losing the #2 tooth completely as it went completely undetected and was eaten away significantly under the gum line. They tried to root canal and save #2 but it ended up getting pulled completely. Great feeling doc. Not sure if the pain I'm still experiencing is from bone fragements, phantom limb/tooth or the #3 tooth is still screwed up but I don't have the money to really find out or pay for an implant. Dr. Russell's office called to ask why I hadn't been in a while. I told them my reasons and got a simple "hmm really...k bye".

No adjustments necessary like I've had to deal with in the past with other dentists. It all went so quickly. Overhead TVs, if you get bored. Wi-Fi. All of the modern equipment is being used. Because of my high anxiety and fear of having dental work done, Dr. Hill suggested that we do the work with oral sedation. It was the best experience I've ever had with dental work. The sedation worked so well that I didn't have any fear or anxiety before the appointment, and I breezed through the dental work without any pain. I also didn't experience any pain whatsoever after the work was done. I can't recommend oral sedation enough. His staff was wonderful and treated me so expertly and with kindness.
