None of them scratched or bit unpredictably. They were very gentle with kids too! The cats are without a doubt 12/10. However the sanitary state of the place has declined quite a bit since the first time I went (4 months ago). Back then, the owner would constantly come into the cat lounge to clean up. However, the past two times I've gone this week, that particular owner was not there. There are visible urine stains and a lot of fur that could be cleaned. It also smelled quite bad. Understandably, with so many cats there are obviously going to be odor. However, when I first went to the place, it smelled a lot better and right now it smells worse than animal shelters. The staff weren't too friendly either. Quite monotone and didn't explain much about rules and such. The previous owner I had mentioned was much better. Overall I would rate the place as 2/5 but the cats were why I moved it up to 4/5. Business seemed super slow and I'm wondering if it's because of those issues. I hope they read the reviews and change things up bcuz I would hate to see this place close down.

I have over 10 years of experience keeping guppies, and I currently have more than 100 healthy guppies at home. I purchased these 5 males hoping to introduce new blood and improve the overall quality of my stock. My tanks have mature, stable water. However, 2 of the guppies from Petsmart died the very same night, and 2 more died the next day, which is today. The last one does not look healthy either. When I was in the store, I even noticed a dead guppy in their display tank, but no staff removed it. It seems like the guppies they sell are extremely weak and cannot survive once they are brought to a new environment. This has been a very bad experience. It is my first time buying guppies from Petsmart, and it will definitely be my last.

I feel compelled to write this as what I experienced goes beyond that. I booked an appointment for both of my dogs and beforehand, over the phone the price was discussed. I mentioned clearly multiple times that my dog was 75 lbs and given that there really isn't a benchmark for what groomers charge, didn't think much of it when I was quoted 75 dollars approximately. I brought my dogs and left them and shortly after received a call that my dogs were ready for pick up and it was 250.00. This number then changed to 215 and in person to 230.00. Also because I couldn't come that exact minute, I would need to pay $50 for boarding if I intended to be longer than an hour. The assistant or whoever she was proceeded to call me over and over with different information. When I arrived, I spoke to Mariam the groomer and calmly wanted to explain that this isn't a good business practice- a variance of over a hundred dollars should've been discussed in person or over the phone at the least. This of course wasn't done. She became loud and defensive and wouldn't let me say a word comparing herself to PetSmart and how much they charge- if I wanted to go to PetSmart I would've. I had full intention of paying whatever she said just to get myself and my dogs out of there and handed her 240 which somehow she didn't think to even offer me my change. All in all it was a horrible experience and I do not recommend this place. There are excellent fair and honest groomers in the area that deserve the business.

Dogs City has an Agreement that you're expected to sign electronically before your appointment, which outlines all of their Terms and Conditions. You have the right to refuse to sign it, in which case you'll be able to take your dog elsewhere. While I consider the way Sarah was treated unfair, for it's a bad business practice to quote one thing and then have a variance of more than $100. It's indicative of a clear lack of communication on the part of the business owner. However, my experience was great and I'll be back there with my pug in the future.
