We went to their warehouse and selected 2 different materials; 1 granite and 1 quartz. They had a really nice selection to choose from. We were both pleasantly suprised with the estimate for both. Lowes and HD didn't want to do a small job (1 @ 72", 1@ 43") so they said it would be over $1K each. Synergy scheduled the onsite measuring within a few days and had our tops ready to install within a week from the measure. The demo and install went smoothly and the installers left everything clean and tidy. Can't say enough good things about them. We were extending a bookcase and needed a remnant to try and match the countertop. We didn't need an exact match but something close enough. We stopped in and were able to check some of the remnants they had outside and as luck would have it, we found a piece almost identical to our original countertop. I contacted the business and James came out and we discussed the project. Later, he came out to see the project and another person came out to take the measurements. Throughout the entire process they were very easy to work with. EGW was very quick to have the pieces ready and were very accommodating waiting on the cabinet makers to finish their part of the job. Once the lower parts of the cabinets were installed, the people from EGW were at my house within a day or two to install. The installation was quick. The people who do the installation are very professional and clean. The bookshelves after the countertops and unless you look very closely, you cannot tell the difference from the remnant pieces and the original countertop. The are efficient, professional and reasonably priced. The other company I used was good but the people at Emerald Granite Works seem to care more about their work than the other business I used. We have other projects and will for sure use them again. Can't recommend them enough for any of your granite, countertop or tile needs.

I met with Abbie and she was soo unbelievably kind, helpful and patient with me. She spent so much time reviewing options and pointed out that there were natural stones that were at a similar price point. (At the end of our meeting, she said "I know you're going to get a natural stone!") She gave me some stone yards to go look and she was right - I fell in love with a stone and it is my favorite part of my entire remodel. I can seriously look at it for hours. Once I picked the stone, Amanda scheduled an appointment to determine the layout of the slabs. She knocked it out of the park! I can't believe how beautifully they fit together. She also said I had quite a bit of stone left and suggested that I use it on another vanity. So glad she did because I love my stone and it made the prefab vanity look way better! When the cabinets were in, Chad came to do the measurements to begin fabrication. They stick to their schedules and I appreciate it so much! Install went great and I am so happy with the final product. Key Points: 1.) Great people that you are happy to give your business to. 2.) Transparent pricing. It was also lower than the other quotes I got. 3.) BLG also had a great selection of remnants at a great price. I got a beautiful marble for my primary bath that I also love! I'll list my experience below: -padded extra $400 onto quote for sink cut out and new sink which was not discussed during quote process. Luckily I saw that and purchased my own sink (also, they could've used the original sink too, so why add $200 without consulting with the client?) -added extra $40 onto granite removal charge. Quoted me $5/sq ft for removal. -cracked my backsplash and only offered $50 refund, and claimed "they're not responsible for damage" ...what?! -counter top came with scratches and scuff marks which they claim wasn't from them. It was installed in a new home where no one was living, and I saw it the day it was installed. Was definitely them -caused a leak when they removed sink, did not alert me to the severity of leak nor make any attempt to resolve it, which resulted in water piling up in my cabinet for a full day and ruined the bottom cabinets. -did not caulk countertop, so unnecessary open spaces between wall and countertop -damaged brand new cabinetry, also denied that. Sent pictures for undeniable evidence. This company is sloppy and they do not take responsibility for their shoddy work. I cannot recommend this company to anyone considering countertop replacement.

Originally we had the plan to update the kitchen during the pandemic, Amy came to my house to have everything measured, use 3D software generate the 3D model, made sure everything aligned what we wanted. We didn't pull the trigger due to many factors. The year after, we called Amy again. She came to the house, did the measurement, did the 3D model. We backed out again. This year, we called Amy again. She didn't say anything. Came over again, did the 3D model. We paid the deposit. Finally we started the project. During this process, Amy shows her patience, professionalism and attention to the details. Once the demolition and installation started, everything was organized in such a nice, efficient, and less disturbing way. The demolition was done in a day, and every trash was picked. Amy's husband, Victor, came to the house, with his experience and knowledge, discussed every details I need to think through - We removed two parts of the kitchen area so it brought some variations. He provided the options, respected my choice, and of course, with his knowledge about house remodeling trend, to make sure I have well-educated information. My husband and I purchased a fixer-upper home and knew we would require new kitchen counter tops (we chose to do the tear-out of the existing laminate and complete the plumbing ourselves to save some money). We called New Stone and were promptly placed on the schedule for a measure. DJ, the owner, came out to measure and within 24 hours we had a quote for new granite counter tops. Very pleased with their competitive pricing, DJ came back out to template our kitchen. Within a week, Luis and Pedro were out installing our new granite. They do excellent work and we were very pleased with the finished project. During installation, we encountered an unexpected issue that nobody could have anticipated, but the project manager, Moises, promptly addressed it, going above and beyond to make sure we were 100% satisfied with the agreed upon solution. From start to finish, everybody at the company had a wonderful and helpful attitude, something I wish other companies strived for. Recently I noticed a few small areas on the garage thresholds where the coating had pulled loose from the extreme heat and garage door sticking to the concrete. I reached out to Joel Allspaugh and sent him some pics of the problem areas. He had their service manager, Tin come out and with his helper Joseph they repaired the places to look like new! If you read what I wrote and of others who are reading care to look at the picture I posted of what you said you were going to do VS what you actually did, anyone could plainly see that you were absolutely not even in the same realm of finished product... which you lead me to believe is what you'd do, for 5k... Now, considering the job was so poorly done with not even the slightest consideration given to doing a patch and asking me if that's what I wanted since it was so different, I can only infer that your company is too busy trying to rush a job and get paid rather than apply critical thinking. Don't try to cloud the issue by showing the poorly done stain that another company did before I hired you... Yes, believe it or not (anyone who's reading) this happened before this particular company came in and ruined my floor. I asked for a certain style, the contractor said they could do it, and it came out horribly done and not even close to what was agreed upon as the finished product I was paying for. How could this happen to me twice in a row? Very bad luck in choosing a floor specialist apparently. You can show whatever before and after you want, but the important one is what YOUR company gave me as the example work, and then the completely different floor you did, and on top of it all you had the nerve to charge me saying you could fix it and didn't, and now you have the nerve to try and defend yourself by moving the goal posts by posting a picture that's unrelated to my issue.
