Enoch Christoffersen Rest Area is one of the safest stops that offers amenities: restrooms, water fountain, and picnic tables. This stop is also dog friendly. The patch of grass is perfect for your four-legged family members to stretch their paws. There's a stand with doggy-poop bags that makes it easy to clean up after them. There are plenty of parking spots but bear in mind that this is not an overnight stop. Located about 2.3 miles South of Turlock, CA, Enoch Christoffersen Rest Area is accessible from California State Highway Route 99. It is a state-managed facility and is well maintained. During the summer months, you will witness beautiful coloured flowers that pop up here and there. Stop to use the facilities, stretch your legs, and enjoy the flowers planted at Enoch Christoffersen Rest Area.

Enclosed are photos of their gifts section . Many leather handbags, wallets and key rings . The wild animals gift figures are very nice . I like the wolf , buffalo and skeletons of the wild animals . The leather purses are Mexican Indian designs and nicely made. There is a huge mobile shop inside for your car . Very nice shops .

Funny how Ive heard so many people talk about Loves Travel Stop but never knew what they…read moremeant...lol... So basically I've never been. So it's a stop, gas station and convenience store. Basically something off the freeway that's kind of in the middle of nowhere. We stopped by for the restroom which would be the first time here. Honestly, it wasn't much to it. It's like walking into a 7'11 or your local AM/PM. Your traditional gas station with your basic. Chips, candies, snack, convenience store. Loads of drinks, of course the hot station with hot dogs and nachos where you help yourself. And then there's the selections of random souvenir you would only see at gas stations. They did have a decent gas station as well as a little dog park that's right next door for the pets to release themselves and get some fresh air. That's a nice little thing added to it. I can say that everyone working there was very sweet and friendly. They greeted everyone that walked through the door which majority was for the restroom. And thanked everyone for stopping by. You don't get that often at places like this. Nothing major but was nice to actually go to one and see what it was all about.

July 18, 2026…read more OVERVIEW: If you're making the run between Bakersfield & Sacramento on Hwy. 99, this location is a MUST STOP when in the San Joaquin area, since you're not going to find anything nicer if you're Northbound. (Meaning: You really don't want to stop ANYWHERE in Stockton.) PROS: Excellent location, right off of the highway, next to a wide choice of fast-food joints. This location is well/stocked with the usual goodies, and as you can see in the attached picture, there's an Arby's attached to the establishment as well. Many fuel pumps mean you really don't need to wait to fill up. Decent amount of parking spaces if you want to relax in your car for awhile. Seems to be really popular with the trucker community, since there always seems to be a fleet of trucks parked in the back. CONS: Although the actual location is great, getting back onto the highway, (headed either North or South) can be a little bit tricky if you don't know what you're doing. So make sure turn on your GPS before you leave.

I'm not a fan of all that switching of freeways and all that traffic. I've driven it before, but if he's with me he takes over. In my mind I drive halfway. As I said this is our stop. It has everything we need. Plenty of parking. It's always a busy stop but never jammed packed. The truck park on the straight away while the cars park in the lot. The rest stop has two sets of bathrooms. Two for men and two for women and a unisex bathroom . There is always a free stall. This time I walked into the bathroom on the right and a pigeon greeted me so I exited as I didn't want an audience as I did my business. The bathroom on the left was a mess. Either 5 stalls didn't flush or the toilets were backed up. I choose the 6th stall and went in piece. They had 4 rolls of toilet paper. Two were brand new but hard to unravel. One roll was empty and the last had just enough toilet paper for my needs. The rest stop also has picnic benches and a grassy area for kids to run around on, or as a public toilet for your furry friends. If you need a stop I highly suggest this stop.

By far the worst experience I've ever experienced from any convenience store so far. The so-called…read morevery untrained manager did not know how to process a transaction using a relay app that us drivers use and he was unwilling to get on the phone with their own pilot help desk get the necessary instructions and have the transaction process. After a few hours I figured his shift was over and maybe I can speak with a different manager on duty which there was a lady named Heather who claimed to be the manager and her herself actually did call the help desk but because the help desk said that the weight would be longer than usual due to high call volumes she said she could not wait around for them to pick up so then I asked if it did not matter to her that I was a customer and needed his transaction to be completed she pretty much told me there was nothing she could do because she was not going to wait around that she had a whole store that she had to manage so I told her okay I guess I have no other option then to call corporate her reply was do you have their number because I don't and I responded with I'm pretty sure it won't take me too long to find it online and she said okay do what you have to do in the meantime I stepped outside and went about to make that phone call while she was inside she spent the whole time on the phone looking out the window as to what I was doing probably calling Ruben to inform him that I again had returned to ask her to help me out and probably that I threatened to call corporate the time that she spent looking at what I was doing she could have really been on hold with the pilot help desk to make the transaction go through but she was more worried about taking care of her store which she did not leave the desk after I left the desk to do what she said she had to do ultimately corporate told me they cannot force them to do anything but they were just put it down in the books and make sure that they received proper training for those transactions in the future. I believe they need more training in overall customer service and learning how to keep learning and not believe that they already know everything and there is nothing a customer can show them that they don't already know very disappointed in both managers because they are just passing that on to their employees who will probably follow their procedures on handling situations like this. I left with nothing resolved
