I've been living in Miami for 7 years and have been to many different barbershops. Of all the ones I've been to Tru Kutz is hands down the best one. I've been having my hair cut by Paul for many years and he always delivers a great cut. The price is about $25 which is pretty reasonable for the area. I've been to other places that are cheaper but either the quality isn't good or the place itself looks run down. The inside of Tru Kutz is nice and they always have good music playing and the barbers making good conversation. Only negative I have is that the place can get busy so you want to schedule in advance and not be a walk-in because you may have to wait. read more

Well I booked my appointment on Squire app with barber Roberto. I paid $81 the most expensive haircut price with tips. They charged me in advance. When I arrived at 11:00am on time the barber Roberto took another client. I was asking how long should I wait they literally responded me 10 min. But it is already 11:25 now and he is still cutting hair of another client. And nobody was even trying to apologize for inconvenience or whatever management works. I guess this kind of attitude to clients is usual in this barbershop. If they allow clients to book appointment online they must be responsible for booking time cause other people have life too. I am not walking in from the street. I booked online and they charged me in advance Update*** Well haircut was nice and he groomed my beard as I wanted But no hot towel services there. So if you book online make sure you do not choose hot towel service. Unfortunately leaving a bad review. I've been coming to this shop for over 2 years and have always provided good cuts. That being said I came in and 2 barbers starting getting into a fight OVER A BAG OF CHIPS! One said he's gonna kill the other - both guys shouting at each other about taking it outside. BAD VIBES. Possibly the worst experience at a shop every. I'm sure this young man is a great barber but his people skills are terrible. It's my first time here trusting a new business since I'm new to the area, most guys get a good barber and stick with them, and that was my very intention! The most unprofessional barber shop I have ever been too. The "MANAGER" is nasty, uneducated, unprofessional, rude and the list goes on. He should be fired immediately from his position because of his lack of customer service . He is disorganized and doesn't know when appointments are made or not even though appointments can be freely made online. On top of the they attempt to steal your money and don't want to return it when they don't give you service. It is a shame that a business like this has done a poor choice in having such an unprofessional manager. He is a disgrace to the profession and to this business. This fine barbery establishment has been around for over 5 years, and now has two locations in the heart of Miami. Upon walking in you'll find everything that marks a true barbershop, (which are some of the last remaining bastions of male comradary in the world)....current or classic Hip-hop bumping, ESPN and or a movie running, and at least 2 rows of professional, reliable barbers. I've found that even my second "back up" barber is just as good as my 1st choice barber for 4 years now. Although everything in Miami (and the USA) has gone up with inflation, they both offer fair pricing, with full haircuts under 20$, and a sharp tape (shape-up) for about 12$. when i walked in they told me there was two people in front of me for all 3 barbers, but there was 5 people waiting. I ended up waiting 90 minutes to get a haircut. i told the kid that i wanted a #2 fade, trim the top. He ended up going all the way up w the 2 and it looked like a bowl cut. As i was getting my cut, another customer came back complaining of the butchered work they did on him by another barber. He didnt give me an edge up with the straight razor. He charged me 25$ when it was supposed to be $20. Ive from nyc and been to many barbers before and never had such a disappointment. I had to pay someone else to fix what he did. read more
