It's unfortunate to have to leave such a bad review but the owner of this establishment has no concept of customer service or respectful behavior towards his clientele or employees! There are too many salons in Miami to support one with an incorrigible owner, that treats, clients and employees with distain and disrespect. While there have been good providers , the attitude of the owner is such that I encourage anyone considering this salon, to run , the other way as fast as they can. I've been to Elite Styles a few times now, twice for my hair and a few times to their Med Spa. Most recently, I met Emily and she did full highlights and a cut. Upon first meeting, she was such a gem, heard me out for what I was looking for but also gave her somewhat of free rein and I have zero complaints. It's different than anything I've had before but I love it! I've gotten so many compliments! Her work is so impressive and she's so attentive to her clients and their needs. She's incredible! For the premium cost i paid to get my hair done i didn't receive the quality of color for the cost. My hair is under processed and has streaks from Betos lifting. It's also yellow. I noticed the streaks a few weeks after my hair process while drying my hair they discoloration is mostly blended in with my hair and towards the back of my head. He offered me to come back in and fix the color. I was trying to find time when i could come back in as he also installed 30 tape in extensions to my hair and then i had a death in the family. So i called a week and a half later to try and make an apt. As it's not easy to allocate time like that to fix one's hair after u had already spent 7 hours in the salon the day he did my hair. When i did this they told me after 2 weeks they will not fix your hair even if they themselves caused the damage. I was in shock no one told me there was a time limit to fix a bad color job done by one of their own stylists let alone one of the owners. Not to mention that i had a death in the family and Beto could care less. Still wouldn't fix it. Needless to say now i have to find someone else to fix it. And i paid a lot of money for a good bleach job which is not what i got. I shouldn't even have to come back to fix my hair obviously Beto saw the bad color job while installing my extensions and still let me leave the salon with a bad color job. What an incredible place! Went in to get my short botched haircut fixed from another salon and was recommended to Will. Let me tell you he fixed everything with in 30 mins and made me feel so sexy. He doesn't speak much English but the owner Beto explained everything to him and at the end he had to translate to Will that I was going to keep him in my pocket. I brought my girlfriend in for a trim who needed it so badly. She felt sexy, refreshed and rejuvenated in no time from the Owner Beto who specializes in blondes. Great conversation all around and even got teamed up with Will at one point. We were greeted with cappuccino and then while getting our hair done we got to have Prosecco. Hello yelp world! Today I went to stylist Leece for a balayage + face frame + hair cut / blow dry. First off let me tell y'all how comfortable Leece and her assistant (Alex) made me feel! I normally get very anxious and uncomfortable at salons but, these two made me feel so welcomed and as if I was at home. Leece is an amazing hair guru. My hair is brunette that had massive undertones of red and green due to undertone I did earlier this year. Leece truly amazed me with the results. Elite Styles is the holy grail of salons and spa! It's a FULL SERVICE facility, and in my opinion it's the prime example of what every "five star" Salon & Med Spa in Miami should strive to be. The day of my appt., I was greeted by Franco (co-owner) at the door, so that he can take my temperature before entering the salon. Immediately, I felt welcomed and was given a tour of the facility. In addition to Franco, I was also greeted by Vivian (Lead Medical Esthetician), who's the sweetest soul, and I was able to book my FIRST facial ever (Hydrafacial) and it was amazing!! I really appreciated Vivian sharing her knowledge with me and making me feel so comfortable. She's so down to earth and I honestly can't wait for my next session with her! I wish I could've taken a before and after of just my nose alone because the difference is night and day! After my session with Vivian, I had my hair consultation with Beto (co-owner). Immediately, I felt super comfortable with him! Beto was so patient with me in hearing out all of my "visions" for my hair. LOL He tested a strip of my hair (which was amazing) to see what the outcome would be, since we didn't know that the previous salon had used on my hair and he didn't want to cause further damage. Full disclosure: I'm still new to dying my hair, so I really appreciated Beto explaining the different styles to me. I booked my session for the following week, and the before and after is below. My hair was brought back to life! Beto cut my hair to make it even, again.. THANK GOD... and chose a (beautiful) natural, but rich color based on the photos that I showed him and my overall taste. Quarantine hair is very real! Out of desperation I tried to tackle my own hair with disastrous results! My blonde hair actually turned carrot orange! And while trying to "fix" the horror, causing damage to my hair. I have a lot of thick hair so I knew it would mean hours sitting in a salon with a mask. But it had to be done. The time came and I got my appointment with Leece. I wanted my blonde back but decided to add a pop of color for the first time ever just to do something 'crazy' for a change. I wanted to add a peekaboo of teal, my happy color Leece assessed the damage and patiently worked through the mass of hair to treat the damage & bring it back to life! It's so hard to find a colorist who can work with blonde colors, and Leece is by far the best!! This was my second time at the salon. I wanted a blunt hair cut and to trim my bangs a little. I was the last appointment for the day, and therefore I did not get my hair shampooed. Simply because everybody seemed in such a rush and were too busy discussing their plans for the night rather than focusing on the client. I even asked if they were going to shampoo and blow dry my hair (which is included in ANY salon visit with a hair cut or color!) The blunt hair cut was satisfying, I was happy with the result. But the bags were absolutely uneven!! I had to wait for months to grow it out trying a million ways for it to be not that obvious! This was the best experience in Miami since I came almost 5 years ago. I used to have an amazing hair stylist back home but I couldn't find someone that good even though I was going to well known salons. I found this salon on Google and Yelp and after reading couple of reviews decided to try it. Beto is very nice person and a real artist. Everybody in salon was nice and pleasant. They offer coffee, water or Prosecco which is super cool. I have extra long curly hair and wanted to get nice blonde highlights. So let me begin by giving the disclaimer that I went in to Elite Styles Hair Salon & Spa with zero expectations! I have never done anything to my hair but for a few months I looked for a colorist in the Miami area that seemed able to do what I wanted with my "boring" hair. I came across Leece (@LooksbyLeece on IG) and I noticed she didn't do the same thing over and over again. I wanted to take my naturally deep brown hair, to a golden khaki color. Super complicated, right? Not to Leece or her awesome assistant Cassidy! From the initial (free!) consultation to the moment I left the salon these two ladies made me feel so welcomed and confident about the change I was going to make. I have had my hair done for a full month and decided to wait a while to write my review in order to see how my hair changed, and I promise it looks the same as the day I walked out of Elite Styles. Leece recommended the right products for MY hair! Not a generic recommendation that everyone receives. She took the time to follow up with and ask me how I was feeling about my hair and how I was liking it and made it very clear that if ANYTHING changed I could contact her to find a solution! I came in for a total hair change . Prior to coming into elite spa I had long , dead overprocessed highlighted hair that turned brassy and dull. I had a consultation with Leece. My appointment was at 12:15. I did not get seen until 1230. I wrote on the Notes that I was coming in for concerns and I would like to get my treatment done on the same day.. she confirmed that she read my notes because she spoke to me about them but at no point in time did she contact me to let me know that I cannot do the treatment and the consultation on the same day. Unfortunately, I cannot take multiple days off, so the communication was not so great.. I would never pay $50 just to look at and tell me to come back in a week. read more

Disappointed Before Even Stepping In. I was initially excited about Elite Styles Salon & Med Spa, lured by their head stylist's work online. However, after booking, the salon's insistence on securing my credit card details--calling five times in less than 48 hours--felt overwhelming. I clearly communicated my situation and it didn't seem to deter their persistence. I mentioned several times, and I clearly sounded extremely sick, that my wallet was in my car. This high-pressure approach, especially when I was already feeling under the weather, really turned me off. I understand the reasoning behind the credit card policy, this is clearly since there are customers that no-show and they don't want to waste time. I did ask several times if there is someone else interested in this time bc of their persistence. You could've waited until tonight to call me, especially that there is no one else trying to reserve that timeslot. My appointment is tomorrow. It's a shame, as first impressions matter a lot. DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE!!!!!!! Beto the brazilian guy messed up by virgin hair completely. What he did is a DISASTER! I am in my 20s and he gave me terrible ashy highlights that make me look 65... He gave me gray hairs! It's TERRIBLE!!! Completely opposite results from what I wanted. What he did on me looks sooo bad, and tacky and cheap!!!! He claims to work with expensive products but he fried my hair! And he wanted to charge me almost $700 for the worse results I could have asked for. His ego is huge but what he did to me was SHIT! I want to cry every time I look in the mirror. It is soo bad that even my family members and friends HATE IT. There is absolutely nothing positive about what he did to me.
