My oldest left hers behind in the rental car on accident, and I messaged this biz owner and she sent me another one! Above and beyond. Additionally, there was good produce here, especially the berries. We even pieced together ingredients for an AirBNB meal: fresh pasta, tomatoes and basil for sauce, garlic, onions and green beans. It's conveniently in the heart of this small downtown, easy to access and easy to park. Loved the whole vibe here.

We were especially excited to buy fruit directly from the farmers! I got a bunch of peaches and nectarines, and let me say I have never in my life tasted such good fruit! I also tried the homemade strawberry & rhubarb pie, and bought the homemade honey with cinnamon. I also especially liked how the Farmer's Market overlooked Silver Beach. Whatever you're looking for, the St. Joe farmers market is a great summer staple that allows you to buy fresh food and enjoy the bluff overlooking Lake Michigan.  If you're here on a Saturday in the summer or early fall, I would definitely try to stop by.

They are one of the only…read morein the area to offer no-spray, organic blueberries, both u-pick or picked (even frozen in the off-season. Prices are very reasonable. There are other fruits available during different times of the year, as well. The u-pick is done based on the honor system, which is very convenient if you want to pick in off hours. When we need frozen blueberries, we call and arrange a time to stop by the farm. Both Schemenauers are very kind, decent, hard-working people. It is worth the extra drive time for us to go to Bangor, when we have 3 blueberry farms within 3 miles of our house! We have recommended this place to many of our friends, and they have said it is worth the drive, as well!

I also have gotten the most beautiful wooden cutting boards from a woodworker who is a true artist, and these were priced so reasonably so that I could actually afford a couple of them. The carpenter who made them said he's retired and just likes to create them, they are literal works of art! I've bought flower boxes from a lady whose granddaughter told me has huge flower gardens and does this for the love of it, and you can tell, because everything she makes is amazing. From buying eggs to home made Banana bread, organically grown veggies, you'll never be disappointed coming to Fulton Market... so thankful to have this option in our city.
