My son has been seeing Dr. Donahue the past couple of weeks. I have been extremely impressed with both of them. Their initial diagnoses have been pretty spot on, and the treatments are amazingly effective. Both doctors really seem to understand all sports and how the body needs to function to do them. My daughter is in competitive cheerleading. My son...baseball. I've never heard either kid complain about the appointments and they usually walk out feeling pretty good about what had just happened. I've never been a huge believer or fan of chiropractors. I always had the impression that once to go, you'll be going for the rest of your life. But I don't get that seem feeling here. And perhaps it's the sports medicine aspect these two being to their practice. They want you healed up and back to normal as quickly as possible. After a surgeon in Des Moines made a huge mistake by fusing L4 to S1 with rods and screws but did not support L5, my screws broke and no fusion took place I was sent to Minnesota for an 8 hour surgery to remove the broken screws and replace with metal gages which then fused solid. I saw dr Paul because everything above my fusion was locked up tight and twisting. I had pain in my neck and upper back and down my arms to the hands. I didn't want another surgery Dr Paul is the only one I trust. He also has gelled me because I have one leg shorter and advised me to use ice due to the inflammation. In short, I have seen him every week for 20 years. And the follow up 14 years later in Minnesota, my spinal surgeon told me I was doing something right. Location is convenient & it helps that's he's a nice, happy person, as well. Cons: Nothing but hours. He closes at 5pm & is only open Mon-Thur. I seem to always remember I need an adjustment on Fridays, so I didn't go as often as I needed. I'm now moving out of state but am hoping I find someone like him in my new place. 5* out of 5.
