My daughter is in competitive cheerleading. My son...baseball. I've never heard either kid complain about the appointments and they usually walk out feeling pretty good about what had just happened. I've never been a huge believer or fan of chiropractors. I always had the impression that once to go, you'll be going for the rest of your life. But I don't get that seem feeling here. And perhaps it's the sports medicine aspect these two being to their practice. They want you healed up and back to normal as quickly as possible. My insurance covers visits regardless of a wellness plan or not. I provided a reference number from my insurance confirming this but the visits were never submitted to insurance. I tried resolving the issue by talking to the front desk who stated insurance does not typically cover these visits and I would ask for the charges to be submitted. The charges were never submitted. Remember, I gave a reference number from the insurance regarding this very issue. I have emailed the billing department and never received a response. I called the billing department and explained the situation and again was told insurance typically would not cover. I asked for the charges to be submitted. The billing person stated she would need to ask the doctor before doing so. The care is good but the burden of fixing insurance issues is placed on the patient. If the billing department had only just submitted the charges as requested instead of waiting 90 days and sending me an invoice stating I owed money. I have never had issues with any other provider. I will be taking my care needs elsewhere.

I went into Optimum Chiropractics as it was closest to where I live; when I went in they gave me a complimentary X-Ray and ended up deducing that my spine was completely out of line and it was crushing a nerve ending.
