My boyfriend and I bought the bogo for $89 float sessions and had a wonderful experience. The employees immediately greeted us and took us to watch the introductory video in a nice private room with comfy chairs. Then she showed us to the float rooms and explained the process and everything we needed to know. The float session was very relaxing. Only thing I wish is that I had a shower cap because the salt water on my scalp burned a bit from my scratching. Otherwise it was very relaxing and just what I needed for my mental health. After the float we were ushered to the oxygen bar where we sat in massage chairs and had oxygen for about 15 minutes. After the employees answered our questions. Also this is a veteran owed business and gives 2 floats a year to veteran on the 11th of any month. I would highly recommend and will definitely go back. read more

I had been coming here for quite a while, which is why this review is especially disappointing to write. I used to genuinely enjoy coming here and had positive experiences in the past, but the overall atmosphere and quality seem to have changed significantly. During my most recent visit, I noticed hair in my float pod, which immediately raised concerns about cleanliness and attention to detail. I also noticed a cigarette smell throughout parts of the facility, which felt very out of place in a business centered around relaxation and wellness. The most disappointing part of the experience was the customer service. In my opinion, the owner came across as unnecessarily rude and dismissive. There's a difference between explaining memberships and making customers feel pressured, and the interaction felt more like a sales pitch than a welcoming experience. The tone felt uncomfortable and unfriendly rather than professional. I also had interactions with staff that felt cold and unprofessional, which only added to the feeling that the environment has changed for the worse. It's frustrating because I used to enjoy coming here and recommended it to others. I'm leaving this review because I hope the business takes customer concerns seriously. A relaxing environment depends on cleanliness, professionalism, and making customers feel welcome and unfortunately this visit did not reflect that. This was the most relaxing experience of my life. This was such a clean, relaxing facility with extremely friendly staff. The deals right now for new members is amazing. The pod room is clean, private, and set to your liking with light or no light, open or closed pod, music or no music. The shower and towel and flip flops make it easy to show right up. I have always wanted to try a sensory deprivation session but there was nowhere in our area. True rest was about as close as it gets. It was not pitch black in the float pod, but it was excellent all the same. After an hour long session I am extremely relaxed. I took advantage of their oxygen bar and a cup of hot tea when I was finished. I've already paid for my return visit. read more

They don't know how to answer the phone or return calls in a timely manner. They insisted we use a "text" option which rendered No Solution to our issue of the call. I received a phone call from an employee we requested that the owner call us back because she could not give us the answers we were looking for. Owner calls us, can hardly understand him because he's on a cell phone and has a heavy accent, he informs us that the employee had a child that was sick (our apologies) and that no one had opened the facility. He was very flippant with this comment, as if this fixed everything. It did not. We requested a refund. No refund will be given. Only a reference to a policy. We get hung up with, and then a TEXT MESSAGE banning us from the facility because, get this, I said "bullshit" on the phone to describe this whole circumstance. Had I received a phone call saying there was an emergency and they are doing their best to accommodate everyone, there wouldn't be an issue. I have been going to the Jacksonville True Rest Float Spa for the past 4 months and have had a wonderful experience! It has helped me reduce stress, sleep much better and improve the look and feel of my skin. I also bring my adult son with autism who has back problems and it has been a great way for him to relax his nervous system and has given him relief from some of his pain. He LOVES going to see Mr. V, the owner, and floating in the pod! The owner is very knowledgable and caring. He always makes time to check in with us when we're there. The staff have always been very professional and we have never had to wait when we've had an appointment scheduled. I highly recommend True Rest Float Spa. read more

My daughter and I visited recently and had an amazing first experience in the float spas. The staff (owner) was extremely welcoming, explained what to expect, and played an informative video prior to the float. The water was about 10 inches deep, warmed nicely, and there were spray bottles/towels handy if you get salt in your eyes. Afterwards, there is a well-equipped dressing room, complete with mirrors, chairs, sanitized hairbrushes, combs, and blow dryers. Finally, we ended our visit with oxygen and essential oil therapy for about 10-15 minutes. The entire experience was fun, unique, relaxing, and very private. My only suggestion is to bring your own deodorant and be sure to keep clothes hung until during your shower so they don't get from any remnant water from the shower. :) read more

Our appointments were at 11:30 and we arrived 15 minutes early. After 30 minutes, we are still waiting on our floats. We keep being told, the tanks will be ready in "a few minutes". Being over 30 minutes behind schedule is completely unacceptable. read more

Me and my wife went for the Valentine's Day special - I had never heard of float therapy before. It was a great experience, very welcoming and relaxing environment. Staff were nice and accommodating. Quick check in, informative video, and then you get your own private room. Everything was super clean and instructions were clear. Definitely give it a try! read more
