He let it go for a week or so, and, then it started to cause him pain. The pain escalated pretty quickly and it was spreading. This was on a Monday evening when it started to look to me like it might be getting infected. I persuaded him to go to the ER that night. I also got online to see what dentist we could call. No one had after hours but Midwest Dentistry had early hours and I left a message explaining the problem and requesting they call us in the morning and let us know if we could come to them on Tuesday morning. We did go to the ER Monday night and an infection was confirmed. He was given an antibiotic and some pain meds to get him through the night. Tuesday morning Midwest Dental called us and said they could see him right away. I know this is a long review, but I felt a little background was needed. Anyway, my parents and I were VERY impressed with Dr Sheezan and his staff. The receptionist, Robin, I think and Nicole, the doctors assistant were so helpful and pleasant. They answered all of our questions. Dr Sheezan was able to pull the remainder of the tooth and give my dad much relief. They accepted him into their services because of our emergency and they offered continuing services to my dad. Thank you Midwest Dental in Sterling, IL for giving us some of the greatest service I could ever imagine to my dad and for making him, my mom and I so relieved to have his tooth taken care of even though we'd never been there before. I would give the doctor and all of his staff 10 stars if I could! They all certainly know how to go above and beyond for patients and their families.
