This is in stark contrast to the first 'emergency mitigation' crew the insurance company sent when my roof had a serious leak that endangered my living room -- they charged $3,000 for what amounted to nothing more than a tarp, and it did nothing to stop the leak. That kept me awake protecting my floors for most of the rainy nights through February 2025. Then the first roofers I talked to wanted payment in cash so they didn't have to pay tax, but didn't mind involving me in a tax fraud scheme with no paperwork to protect myself against faulty work or the IRS. Finally I called Right First Roofing and was immediately relieved to find an honest and straightforward contractor. Patrick got up on my roof himself and took a video to show me its condition and explained my options, pointing me to what I knew (from the experience of the first roofer) to be the less expensive treatment and one that was perfectly adequate to protect my mobile home's aluminum roof.
